the salt is there mainly to make the fluid rough so you can actually "eat" into the metal. But if you're gonna use salt, make sure you really, really, REALLY wash it through.

Previously announced, but delayed because of some errors so they had to throw out the manufactured ones. Reworked and are finally on the shelves!

Thanks for the reply guys.
I just disassembled my wc kit last night.
It is the pump that got problem cry.gif
water not flowing

I'm using XSPC X2O 750 pump & reservoir.
*
That... would be the worst thing that could happen. Is the pump dead ? If it is, see if you can get it warrantied.

Are they making waterblocks for hero as well?  hmm.gif

Has anyone here sprayed or coated their water blocks which have exposed copped bits with acrylic clear coat or anything of the sort so it doesn't react with air and turn ugly?

Change the cooler first.

Anyway, meimei needs help.
Can anyone tell me how to bleed the air of a closed loop Swiftech H220 AIO water cooler? I changed the tube and I got problem bleeding it. The WC is working, but I saw a lot of air inside.........
*
How did you fill it up? Usually people bleed by leaving their fill port open. If not I think your only other way is to vary the pump speed and shake loose the bubbles so it travels to the main air pocket.

My radiator has a coolant refill port, that's it, any idea?
*
Is it possible to leave the port open while your loop is running without coolant spillage? If yes, then that's the way to go.

If anyone wants to see a good collaboration of modders coming together to honour another modder's memory, this is an excellent example:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1322886/sponsor...akith-a-tribute

It's sad we don't have a larger community of local modders who make themselves known, otherwise I would share this with them too. But I guess the water cooling community is close enough.

On a happier note, some sick acrylic tube work by Kier.

user posted image

By the looks of it, it's EK's acrylic tubing and HD fittings.

Also, Monsoon's Chaingun Fittings have hit the shelves, available at PPC. Oversized fittings with rather killer looks (subjective). Available in various colours matching the rest of Monsoon's range. Sold in singles or pack of 4.

I wouldn't recommend that since I have no idea what's in it. Use it if you're completely sure it's ok to use.

As for biocide, have you asked apes? Otherwise can ask niclasteoh.

*
I don't think anyone here "regularly" changes their loop fluid. Draining and filling isn't very fun, and if you completely want to be sure your loop is "clean" when you fill it back up, you need to really, rinse your loop. Not fun. Better to just avoid complications and prevent them if possible.
