Just started to know about water cooling system.Usually what is the maintenance for water cooling system? How much does it cost for maintenance?
*
Are you already using a water cooled system? Custom loops just require radiator and fan cleaning and flushing of fluid (coolant or distilled water) cost of maintenance, if nothing is damaged or of the sort, just the price of your coolant/distilled water and your time.

No,still thinking about it and learning some of it.So basically all water cooling system need coolant or distilled water? If yes,how much usually it cost and per bottle can use for how long?
*
Yeah, pretty much, since it is a LIQUID/WATER cooling system. tongue.gif

Coolants made for computer water cooling can cost from about RM 35 - 90 for a premixed 1L bottle, depending on what brand and type you choose. Distilled water costs way cheaper.

Per bottle use depends on how much your loop will take. Larger loops will require more, smaller loops; less.

You could probably run the stuff for 1 year or so, I've seen ppl run for 2.5 years with no problem.

Owh,if use distilled water,1 litre usually can last how long? Just need an average because if like 1 litre per day I would faint  rclxub.gif
Cannot use tap water? Why?
*
You won't need a litre a day. Like I said, depends on your rig.

Anyway, you should read this first.

Omgggg. I would have waited if I knew this was coming out! doh.gif

Looks so promising. Hopefully they do like the 5 and make an LT edition. Now that would really interest me.

Edit: just checked, no LT version of the aquaero 6, only XT and Pro versions.

How is that, "noob"? blink.gif haha.

Though I must say, there's still room for improvement for your tube routing. It's quite unfortunate you can't get your radiator to fit in your case.

Thanks!  smile.gif
Yep, you're right. All inside is much better.
But that's the problem with the case. Not much room to put in the rad inside.

Well, later on I will see what I can I do to put the rad at the front, removing the HDD cage.
I'll leave it outside at the moment  laugh.gif

Thanks!  biggrin.gif

Hahaha..still noob tongue.gif
Taiko2 rigs here are much better  thumbup.gif

Yep. I'll see what can I do with the routing. Maybe for next project.
As I'm not changing my setup too frequently.

Thanks for the feedback  smile.gif
*
Well, use the rigs here as inspiration to improve yours in the future. Not sure, ask! thumbup.gif

You're using a 7hx, right? IINM, there's a top cover you can buy from lian li to accommodate a dual radiator. It's like an expansion for your case. Maybe you can consider getting that in the future.

Do you guys think we should have our own guide to watercooling? I just realise the links on the first post are either down or outdated. lol.

I was thinking of making one that's more localised. What do you guys think? hmm.gif

radiator thickness, not all radiators fits in some casing thus requiring thinner rads such as blackice etc

good job btw  thumbup.gif & pm a moderator to get it pinned
*
Oh right. Radiator thickness. Hahaha. Yeah, I finish first then will ask to pin. Btw, linked your plasticizer thread to mine.

anyone know whether a 360 rad would fit behind a corsair 350D
and the front can support a 280 rad without removing the 5"bay ?
*
The 360 you want to put outside at the back? On paper looks like can.

Front rad support without removing the 5.25" bay, that one will depend on what radiator you use and I have a feeling you will need to remove or cut something.
