EK is joining the acrylic tube craze, selling 500mm acrylic tubes of 10/12mm and 12/16mm diameters.
Bitspower will need to start selling long acrylic soon or they'll lose out. |

QUOTE(syahbi @ Aug 16 2013, 01:09 AM) Hahaha You gotta judge for yourself bro. Don't overdo it. I think you'll be able to see the o-ring compress. Once you see it compress fully and if you can't tighten anymore without forcing it, that's pretty much enough. One more...anybody got idea how and where to fit the Swictech MCRES rad to Cooler Master 430,spin every angle ady...no idea.... so funny buy new case??? money out of stock.. |

Why so quiet here one?
Does anyone know what the thermal specs of the thermal pads that come with Bitspower's RAM plates? E-mailed Bitspower but no reply. Would be great if someone knew how to reach them or know the thermal spec of their pads. |

And ordering from E22 is crazy. SO EXPENSIVE. Might just go with MDPC coz they have the colours I want. E22 what shipping they using? Maybe find out if local distro gonna stock it? Or buy from else where? |

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Aug 23 2013, 09:28 PM) Yeah thats the problem, otherwise I already order it from them 2weeks ago wtf. crazy ppl.I asked lingloong last month & no news from distro. Doesn't look like they are bringing in any soon. Best choice right now is frozencpu but they are using ups You can always go with USPS international. Quite alright from my experience. Tracking IINM will be rubbish though. Takes bout 2 weeks or so to arrive. |

Haha. I would probably have gone with acrylics if I didn't already have tubing and fittings on hand. Particularly interested in Primo's line of acrylic tube.

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Aug 24 2013, 01:57 AM) Not really I'm hoping that my tubing is one of their first batches with better quality results. lol. Yeah me too, too bad bought primo already few months ago. Did not see this coming considering the fact that its been out for quite sometime & never heard anyone really complaining about it. Just keep hearing good things about it, but then the plasticizer effect is not as severe as other tubing so kinda hard to notice it too. When my loop was running with dyes its not very noticeable that the tubing have gone cloudy... Anyways no more plastic tubing for me, acrylic from now onwards. They had plenty of time to research & get it right but seems like they just cant solve the plasticizer issue, but then cant blame them either since its not an easy thing to do. Perhaps they could but then will lose rigidity & stuff like that, e.g durelene is not bad actually no plasticizer but then its too soft so kinking becomes another problem. Btw out of topic a bit, seems like local distro is dropping lamptron so that means no cw611 over here. Any other suggestion for a fan controller that is good looking (dont really fancy knobs & stuff, just clean lcd screen) & has at least 6 channel? Wah. Why even local distro dropping Lamptron? oO. NZXT fan controller? Their first generation? LX and LXE. They even have an external screen based unit. haha. Should be able to get for cheap now. Especially at retail stores like Czone. And I don't think fan controllers can be considered off topic. There isn't really a thread where we can ask bout that, can we? lol. And we/some of us use it for our WC rigs so hey. QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Aug 24 2013, 02:17 AM) I doubt it because I got mine quite early too. I think it was during your 4th or 5th ppc bulk? No idea. batches might differ anyway, mine's uv blue. Yeah, apparently low sales Trying to stay away from aquaeros la since need to get it from US, might as well get lamptron then. Just looking at what are the options if I were to get a fan controller locally rather than importing I suppose I can agree with that. Not many ppl find the need for a fan controller. Too big... NZXT Sentry? Single bay, full touch. Yeah, there's also the recon. Got a friend using it. So far so good. Why do you need 6 channels, anyway? That's true I suppose. Locally not many options that I know of. Only Bitfenix and NZXT, AFAIK. Hey, have you tried looking on Amazon/Newegg for the Lamptron CW611? If got then can get one of the forumers to order for you through service. heh. This post has been edited by pristine: Aug 24 2013, 02:37 AM |
