There are so many varieties. I LOL at those with head hoods biggrin.gif I will totally consider this cocoon if i am traveling alone. Overnight journey, save 1 night at hotel dy.

Let's see what price I can get for Peach and then i will decide which option.

Peach Airline landed at Narita Airport.

From Narita to Tokyo City still have to ride a expensive NEX or Keisei Express

here's my very first chiong of the trip. didn't sleep much straight chiong for sushi dai @ tsukiji market. laugh.gif

5am in the morning (4am malaysian time!) and i have to line up beside the road lol. best sushi i've ever tasted, and it's the best in tsukiji market, that's why people are willing to line up this early in the morning, or 3~4 hours just for the sushi. sweat.gif

Passing Shinjuku (Kabukicho - 歌舞伎町)

Shinjuku was our last stop of the night after rushing through Harajuku and Shibuya. Unfortunately most shopping malls were on their way to closing when we finally arrived at one of the busiest train station in Tokyo. Hence the only option left was Kabukicho, Japan's famous entertainment & red light district.

It is evident that this place is the total opposite of the rest of Tokyo. Gone are the friendly and super duper polite people of the city. Feels more human in a way, I guess. Sights of Yakuzas walking around are kinda scary though haha.

Generally this is the place to go if you are looking for host/hostess clubs, bars, JAV and other related stuff. It's best if you know some Japanese although there are places specially catered for foreigners. Not my type of place though. Or maybe I have just not spent enough time exploring Shinjuku.

Yeah man, i don't dare to snap photos there. These guys look menacing. The pic with the dogs, looks like they were confronting the poor dude with the camera.

I'm planning to go for skiing Jan 11-13. Since I've not seen Mount Fuji, my pick would be Fujiten Snow Resort. Problem is, they don't provide accomodation. Where would you recomend to stay? Also, will I be able to see Mount Fuji during that period? Cloudy during winter right?

Its a dilemma when taking Air Asia to Haneda due to touch down time is close to mid nite. If any delay means either sleep over at airport or take a expensive taxi ride to hotel. Not forgetting you already paid the room for the day itself. rolleyes.gif

Nice pix, love the vibrant colors. I'll be staying there in 2 months time, looks exciting to me. Late night snacks and beers at Izakaya.

I had this same concern last time so I booked a room at First Cabin as I didn't wanna take chance. Luckily this time I am entering through KIX and I selected the midnight flight so that touch down in the morning. Save one night hotel cost biggrin.gif

I went to Japan with my husband on our own. Took the Shinkansen, buses & local subway/metro around from Tokyo, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Osaka.
