QUOTE(cherroy @ Jun 17 2013, 10:41 PM) So far, I see no one agree on selling, its time liverpoolfc play meanbut what the club can do, if the player handed a transfer request? Forcing the player to honour the rest of contract? We've been pushed around too much in the past, throws tantrum, hands in request & we obliged. maybe in the past we weren't good enough to be having much quality players or grade AAA type to support players that headed out, i.e. torres, mascherano, owen, mcmanaman. maybe we (Lfc) was partially responsible to just rely on gerrard-torres combo or gerrard-owen combo or gerrard-suarez combo. We have been known to be called a 2 man team. oh damn, its always gerrard+ (insert name) again. Ok. maybe we aren't able to get type AAA but it seems we are willing to get AA or a few graded players (instead of fringe B's, allen??). (Btw you guys know that Henrikh Mkhitaryan deal is all to be sewn up this week right? Henrikh's deal would seem that we are probably lifting the "burden" off our star players. i know we shouldn't rely on weather Henrikh will suit the premiership but the philosophy behind rodger's pick would seem, "hey we aren't just always grooming (young) players to be sold". Whether or not it will convinced the likes of suarez to take notice but we hell wouldn't want to let next seasons opportunity pass us by without a fight. (reasons stated before) I will tell suarez this, your boots are liverpool boots (you have a contract, we expect you to be a professional. play as you are 100% as always or take a seat on the bench) No professional will want (or like) to take a seat on the bench esp players like suarez. Every player lives to "play' (maybe not english players like joe cole who would rather flirt with the medical nurses ?? I believe Rodgers may means business this time. he has certain shortcomings on tactics but he has learned to adapt quickly against oppositions. IF shankly was managed suarez, and if suarez pulls a transfer request, i would think shankly will just tear the transfer request in his face. (just a shock value, but knowing shankly he will pull the player aside & give him a piece of his mind that the player will never ever forgets. QUOTE(Chris Lam @ Jun 17 2013, 03:02 PM) Bro. I'm not saying others wont step up. Suarez score from a ratio 7/10. Tell me who can do so in that kind of ratio? Got. In Beckham o Ronaldo o mayb Bale (Stil score less than Suarez). We don't have that technically gifted freekick taker other than Suarez. Gerrard is Good but doesn't give u there returned ratio. I'm stating if we loose suarez...Those crucial freekick GOALS we will miss. Couthinho o others takes...They will score but would not GUARANTE you watching infront of the TV that Suarez have 70% chances of scoring. Yes Suarez is a very technically gifted player. But if his heart is in the wrong place, he might not play well. He might even play worse then he can now. If he's gone, then he's gone. We need passionate players to play for our beloved club. Remember the saying from KD "Nobody is bigger than the club". Keep that in mind.. YNWAEnjoy watching. Back to work. Chris. |

Andy Carroll poised for £15m West Ham move as Liverpool line up Iago Aspas and Simon Mignolet
Andy Carroll will undergo a medical at West Ham United on Tuesday as Liverpool prepare to make a £20 million loss on their club-record signing. By Mark Ogden11:00PM BST 17 Jun 201314 Comments Carroll, a £35 million buy from Newcastle United in January 2011, was due to fly back from a holiday in the United States on Monday night to complete the formalities of his £15 million transfer to Upton Park, following a season-long loan with Sam Allardyce’s team last season. The 24-year-old, who scored seven goals in 24 Premier League appearances for West Ham during his loan, is understood to have agreed a six-year contract worth £100,000 a week in order to complete a permanent move to the London club. thank god for that!!..gud luck andy..u wont be a successful player under BR system |

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Jun 18 2013, 07:59 AM) its time liverpoolfc play mean I think you may have a point. Usually, i do feel that we should let players who wanted to go, GO. But i think in Suarez's case, we can force him to stay. Just like what City/Mancini did to Tevez. I don't think Suarez plays golf we've been pushed around too much in the past, throws tantrum, hands in request & we obliged. maybe in the past we weren't good enough to be having much quality players or grade AAA type to support players that headed out torres, mascherano, owen, mcmanaman. maybe we (Lfc) was partially responsible to just rely on gerrard-torres combo or gerrard-owen combo or gerrard-suarez combo. So i expect suarez to realise we can play hard ball this time too. I believe Rodgers may means business this time. he has certain shortcomings on tactics but he has learned to adapt quickly against oppositions. I say this because looking at the way our transfers are going about, Suarez's departure was never in the plan for FSG. FSG will spend money to acquire players regardless of us selling Suarez. Apart from the Carroll to west ham deal to fund our future purchases and several others like Shelvey and Skrtel, we are not looking to profit from Suarez's sale. Looking at reports suggesting that we are close to the Armenian (who I think is overpriced) suggests that we are giving a strong signal of intent to push strong next season. I think FSG have the money to make it happen. Suarez staying will only strengthen our squad. I think he is passionate & professional enough to keep playing with us albeit forced because he is a world class player who likes to play football and he must have one eye fixed on cleaning up his image thus increasing his value to attract "BIGGER" clubs. P/s: Remember, Suarez is a player who likes to play. He wont be happy not playing and sitting on the bench and that guy just wont get injured. I have a strong feeling that if he was forced to stay with us, he will play and give his best. I Hope. This post has been edited by lerijiso: Jun 18 2013, 10:27 AM |

Guys. Rodgers know that he got to get it right this summer or else he will be spending his Christmas early. Anyway..I like all the Genuine interest guys that goin to signed for us. Dam it. Finally CL for us is coming for 2014/15. U may think that i'm too Optimistic but We should be coz since the League has started...every season..in Liverpool..we need to b successful.Though i really like Rafa to be back but Rodgers is at helm now & what he is offering is Nice but he know that there is flaws in his Philosophy. In the recent interview..he had promise that he will bring new idea in to make "Us' what he trying to crafted. Hope he succeed..at we r craving to b challenging the League & Cups again..
Simon Mignolet - We have open talk - A comprise deal will b meet - Seem there's a deal in place for Reina to signed for Barca - Which is y we r pushing for this deal. Henrikh Mkhitaryan - His DEAL is being FUND by the Sales of ANDY CARROLL - TQ - Which i mention much earlier in the forum that he's one of top 3 summer signing targets. - Though reports that we r willing to pay 23/25mil pound deal & he's coming for a medical. - But close source urge us to b little caution as information is sketchy and very speculative at this moment in time - Due to Shakhtar is not easy to deal & other CL clubs r flirting around him.. But this is the real deal. Mkhitaryan been "GRANTED PERMISSION" to hold talks with Liverpool. In order to b "GP" to talk to us.....A transfer fee must have been "Agreed" and a "Bid Accepted" by Shakhtar. Within the next 24 hours...We should know whether he's set for a "Medical" as reports stated. Finger CROSSED - P/S - I think the reason behind BR is pushing this deal is that he see his talent in the mold of Gylfi Sigurðsson which is a success under BR system in Swansea. Just gutted that "Sigurðsson" choose spurs coz more in wages. F him. Spurs can have him. Let's Enjoyed His 25 Goal Last Season... His CL Performance Vs Chelsea & Mind U it's with Shakhtar talent His CL Performance Vs Juventus Score the 4th Goal Where Amenia Thrashed Denmark 4-0 Borini Out? Borini said this..."I do not want to leave Liverpool despite all the speculation, my future is in England and at Liverpool" Suarez Exits...? - It being mooted that we would not anything less than 40mil pound. - But close sources state Real r planning to offer 25/30mil + Spain Under-21 star Alvaro Morata(CF) to us to seal the deal - FYI @ BR did have a look at Alvaro Morata talent which he shinning at the current Under 21 tournament. My Personal Opinion. If we can get 40mil + Morata will b "GREAT" value but i think Real r goin to offer 30mil + Add On to 33/35mil + Morata to sealed the "Dealed". They wont be willing to pay more than 40mil coz Suarez wanted to moved & their Primary target is BALE not Suarez. Anyway..Enjoyed some talents of Alvaro Morata zakwanfuad : I know la. No 1 is Bigger Than LIverpool Football CLub. I'M STATING WE WILL MISS THOSE CRUCIAL FREEKICKS GOALS!!!!AS SIMPLE AS THAT...TAILO More news should reached u guys after 7 tonight by the media if i can't update u guys fast enough..Haha You'll Never Walk Alone. Real's target has always been Bale. Suarez's whoring himself out to Real is the only reason they are considering entertaining the Suarez bid..because they are REAL and they CAN.
We must not be bullied. 40mil opening price. No pasar malam sale for Suarez. And who the hell is Morata? More youtube research is needed..lol |

We are REAL foolish if we sell Suarez for anything below 50mil. He has a long term contract with us. It's not 18 months, it's not 12 months. It is 50 odd months over left if I am not mistaken.
Not sure if the 40mil clause is real. If it is, then it is out of our hands but if not, then 50mil and not a penny less. Kick that in with goals and appearances fee. And that is the REAL price for other clubs. For Real Madrid, 60mil and not a penny less only because we want to teach the bully not to bully. |

The prob is..if we loose him. Where the freekick goals going to come from? Dam. Gerrard hardly score from freekicks also. That's is saddest thing that i would miss from Suarez is His "Freekick Supreme". No 1 had score more than he did in the League last season or any Liverpool player do so in recent year. I will miss those "Beauty". QUOTE(dillonyong @ Jun 17 2013, 02:35 PM) +999 for Cautinho. but seriously after all the talents that left the club, i'm afraid that he'll join the list one day. i think for the past 10 seasons, midfield players that i adore (Alonso, Meireles, Aquaman) tend to leave the club. trying my best to not adore Cautinho as much. maybe then he wont leave the club |

What we can think of the Suarez situation, LFC knows better. We're on top of the situation, interested club either pay up or shut up.
