nurture the player? yea right. remember what happened when Arsenal tried to "nurture" young players? lol +999 for Cautinho. but seriously after all the talents that left the club, i'm afraid that he'll join the list one day. i think for the past 10 seasons, midfield players that i adore (Alonso, Meireles, Aquaman) tend to leave the club. trying my best to not adore Cautinho as much. maybe then he wont leave the club
bro please dont adore our no 10 so much . would love to see him in the reds shirt till he retired
Its hard to ignore the link with Simon Mignolet, the Sunderland keeper, especially with each report inching closer to a done deal transfer to Anfield....which made Reina's earlier pledge to stay at Anfield further compound my already confused mind. Granted that Gulacsi left us earlier, but a 6-7 million signing is still consider a luxury if he is meant to provide competition to Reina....I guess Brad Jones have to kiss his 1st team chance goodbye....a pity too, as Jones improved quite a lot, especially match temperament....he is calmer in goal compared to his earlier matches, when its really scary watching him play and come for corners...he looks like he could fumble at any given time.....but improved he did..by heaps
Back to Mignolet, a player highly rated by the Belgians, and commended by fellow professional Joe Hart, @ 7 - 9 million depends on which report you refer to, is not exactly a huge amount by 1st teamer standard but still its a luxury signing if we are not in fact going to off load Reina....just wondering that isn't Jack Butland a better calculated risk @ 3.5 million when he moved to Stoke...well we have a tendency of missing out on promising young lads...Still Mignolet based on his value when he moved to Sunderland for no more than 2.5 million...represent more than 200% increase in value. Still I believe he possess the necessary quality, afterall, he kept Craig Gordon out of the 1st eleven, that itself is a testament of his potential...granted that Craig is still trouble by injury problem...but hey he did replaced the most expensive goalkeeper in the EPL @ 9 million - until that was shattered by De Gea transfer to MU...
he seems to have the pace where the (lumbering) carroll doesn't. Carroll has the physical build but he doesn't seem to use it much to better his advantage.
Henrikh does look a bit too slim to physical english football, no wait what's player we loaned but never took up (from Rmadrid to Dortmundfc)

Borini Scored! Im glad he managed to get something..looking so disjointed up front.
However, its too late. Spain are crushing Italy as we speak. The spanish kids are really talented.
Isco (wanted by City/Real), Tello, and Morata (Ohh..this Morata Real wanted too offload + cash for Suarez) looking really good upfront. Tiago (Wanted by utd) too was phenomenal.
