ah.. that's what i've suspected; the real cause of this :/ are you using the w8 usb (fat32)? if you do, you can try modify your w8 install usb by putting the ei.cfg in sources folder. the content of this ei.cfg are as follows: CODE [EditionID] Core
[Channel] OEM
[VL] 0
you might wanna put the key in sources\pid.txt, too: CODE [PID] Value=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
reinstall w8 with this modified one. good luck.

you should be fine reset them to defaults. the key now is to make the installer to be oem, instead of retail.

uh? how come? with the ei.cfg (oem as channel), the installer should be converted to oem install. this was tested before and worked.

QUOTE(yumin1991 @ Aug 14 2013, 01:34 PM) Ah.. You should have leave the stock drive alone for a bit :/ to me its the backup for normal users that is surely working when something is not right. Really curious why you couldnt do a clean install or recover from recovery usb (especially this recovery usb; its simple to do, and it should be working even without touching bios)

QUOTE(yumin1991 @ Aug 14 2013, 01:34 PM) That's disaster produced from bad mistake. By, right u should be able to identify which drive to install win 8 from the capacity. I simple don't understand how u can doomed both drives. Even for my G53, SSD installation I did check which drive is the primary HDD with the stock Win 7 Preinstalled. before installing my SSD.
