Hi guys, is there a G750jx with SSD or hybrid drive? Whats the price like. Most of the places are having the ones with a normal hdd only.

I don't think that any retailers will carry that.
Plus, it is cheaper if u upgrade urself. The only place that has customizations for this laptop is at Illegear.

yeah @Aura is correct, that will be no SKU with ssd here. it's much easier and cheaper to get standard ssd's and put them in.

update: i am very surprise nobody complain about MSI warranty on LYN... lol i call ask msi regarding their warranty, after 30 days not 2 year,,, i have to pay for labor charge and service charge... haha joke... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Phew dell/aw is not like that at all. LOL. Btw I helped my friend to replace his M17xR3 to the latest M17 biggrin.gif. Better processor + GPU + everything la haha.

hmm... oh msi is good for you.. mod gpu/cpu... so on... i think msi for pro like you who like mod and if fuk can fix on their own count. me i am noob... as long can plau game full HD i am happy... simple joe unseen.

hmm MSI 2 year warranty on their brochure just ink print.. pure miss-guided advertisement, kinda smart tho... put Warranty void sticker on the back access notebook so... if break seal bye bye warranty.. even so they say up ram or hdd no problem.. if all upgrade go smooth... if error hapen boom ur deep shoot... go msi notebook rosak... msi say oh since you break void seal warranty gone.. pay now labor/service and hardware... lol gosh im gonna punch them..smile.gif biggrin.gif

If ASUS G750 doesn't come with a recovery DVD, how do you reinstall the OS into SSD?

try create the recovery usb using the backtracker from g75vx and use that to restore the factory-state OS into ssd. alternatively, you can clone it using macrium reflect. lastly, do a clean install with matching w8.
