QUOTE(horns @ Jul 10 2013, 11:19 AM)
uh? no. the disassembly is easy. to those who are familiar with the laptop, thermal paste replacement and cleaning up fans/vents are just under 30 minutes.

it's just tedious and needs a lot of patience.

--

oh.. but i think MYR 50.00 is more than enough.
that's why i ask you guys to learn to do that on your own. i have upgraded my wifi card to intel 7260 (under 15 minutes biggrin.gif). it has stronger signal but the problem now is my router/ap compatibility lol!
no, it has a single screw hidden under the cover. you need to pry that cover up first.
if you are not planning to upgrade your cpu/gpu at all, yeah it's good enough (the cooling should be the best among gaming laptops). i suggest you get the g750jh that is to be released in august 2013.

however, note that there are other options besides asus g750 (cheaper; easier to maintain on your own). take your time and look around. you might find what you REALLY NEED.
*
haha.. can even disassemble twice while sitting at coffee house~ lol!..

QUOTE(dannygeni @ Jul 10 2013, 11:32 AM)
noob a bit. the harddisk slow right? speed at 5400rpm. did u upgrade it? like 128ssd to run windows and another hard disk for storage?..
*

there are alot of program uninstaller which uninstall thoroughly up to registry.

smile.gif u can do it that way one by one or like most of us here who did and i supposed would suggest to do clean install instead of cloning

Hello ADVISE ...  there seller or middleMen on here asking me to do Trade M17xR4 with my G75vx ...  what you guys think?

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2879923
*
hmm from gtx 670m to gtx660m? don't think it's a good idea. and the G75VX itself has really good cooling system with upgrade ability already. smile.gif just my 2 cents tho.

The only +1 on that laptop is the 3820 which also will have higher temp compared to ur current G75 but if u need more graphic power instead of cpu then the g75 is still the good choice

but then again u only need to upgrade the GPU to have it become a beast~ lol.. which alienware allows~ Imho trade ur G75 basic (without ram upgrades + ssd) and get that + gpu upgrade maybe? advantage to u from my pov

oh.. but my idea is this: to have good experience, you must have good infrastructure that is relatively time-proof.

you don't change infrastructure much; you only change end-point devices most of the times. routers happen to be infrastructure (well, only cutting edge technology are relatively time-proof; but the price is surely much higher :/).

true smile.gif have the same opinion.

actually i not really sure about these raid thing, the only thing i know is ssd is fast  laugh.gif
*
haha sry sry =.="

yeah SSD is really2 fast but don't couple it with slowpoke . it will be slow~ just put it into AHCI mode smile.gif except u have 2 SSD sitting side by side (same port speed same SSD speed) then u can take advantage of raid.

ASUS throttle most of their GPU don't know why. Yeah it's good thing they did that for safety measures but at times its kinda annoying happy.gif

ur GPU core 90C? woah.. ask them a new unit then. don't want that laptop anymore.. maybe replace with g750? lol

Asus wont be so generous 1 lar.. I oso wont dream so much, as long they wont be so noob to fix the problem i would be satisfy edi.
already overheat, i throttle down only. Seems like the fan RPM doesn't spin fast to cool the CPU down.
*
lol.. in this areas only.. on other areas they actually did a job well done.. well this is what happens when they have too many department~

and lol playing BF3 up to 90C? thats quite high actually well atleast it didnt reach a higher number. i remember mine was around 76C to 80C.. i think 80C is when i OC'ed and 76C when i didn't OC lol

THX advise got Cysis3 to Run 28-31FPS capture with FRAPS while OC with Afterburner smile.gif temp is 60C

i want to buy an intel ssd, should i go for standard 2.5inch or msata? which one fast? (intel 520 120gb vs intel 525 120gb)
*
standard is better.. intel 520 is what i'm using now smile.gif

but do look around we have lots of SSD brand which is quite decent with very reasonable prices smile.gif
