QUOTE(mansooriqbal @ Jun 26 2013, 10:08 PM) which is why AMD processor with a AMD 7970M is dirt cheap. To be honest, not worth more than 2kRM for that. yeah thats just bad actually. Pity AMD couldn't come up with a better CPU/APU. the GPU itself has driver issues well most are fixed but still there is room for improvement. Don't know where they went wrong~

So my wild guess is 314.22 nvidia driver is the most stable at the moment. Coz 320.18 WHQL is a gamble.. and the latest 320.49 although sounds promising, but~

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Jun 27 2013, 10:02 AM) maybe you can do some benchmark test to knows its stability perhaps its ok i'll do that. but to be honest benchmark doesn't really test the stability, its just stressing the gpu for 15 mins.

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Jun 27 2013, 10:25 AM) Who says it don't? Its easy to know its stable or not, the program not hang there means is stable. stress gpu for 15 min can't justify anything. The test need to do like 2 hour to prove its stability. Well is kinda painful to wait, but thats how most of the ppl test their system. and why would i benchmark my laptop for 2 hours? which software is that. lol~ isn't it a lot better to have fun while benchmarking? playing games and do stuff if it takes 2 hours? And also while benchmarking u need to stare at the screen for 2 hours to see if there is any artifact~ because stability doesn't mean the program hang only~ thats just for the scores. but if you're playing games u will need to stare at the screen while playing games and yeah see artifacts along the way.

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Jun 27 2013, 10:39 AM) Ofc some benchmark is calculate score, some is to stress system performance, depends on what kind of thing u wana test ofc U can do test up to 3 days, its all up to u lol . There was plenty tools out there, burntest, calculate PI, prime, the list goes on & on. scores obtain are from system being stressed. so yeah~ i sometimes use furmark burn-in test if i want to run a quick test of temp. but thats it. I'd rather play games for days instead of benchmarking for days. No point doing it. I'm not writing a full review. Even so, people are more interested in real life test (with games) instead of scores. say what FPS did u got~ and stuff like that~ let me know if u're running 3 days test btw.. it's good to know members here are running them. would like to know the result as well ~. -- on another note. assassin creed IV oh yeah~

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Jun 27 2013, 10:46 AM) I not so hardcore to do stress test for 3 days in a row , even I have rig run for 24/7. The most i done in my rig is 10 hours stress test becoz wana test newly installed stuff for OC stability i don't need a rig to run 24/7~ haha.. my previous laptop an old acer laptop (lost that screenshot dammit) runs for 28 days~ haha no reboot at all. Thats what i call stability~

Oi, jz gime the G750 la dei, no need repair la some people might be lucky some might not. Ah depends on the luck then~ lol. are they changing new mobo? QUOTE(milky @ Jun 27 2013, 11:24 AM) tot wanted to ask how's the asus warranty service centre.. i think now no need to ask already...thought after a year their service will be better... QUOTE(milky @ Jun 27 2013, 11:56 AM) hahaha.. last time bought a G55 for my bro from itking .. *touch wood* until now still ok.... phew* so now was thinking wan to get g75 for myself or not.. coz i very scare their customer service yeah same as mine no problem so far~ well there is actually. but there is a reason behind it.. haha.. QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Jun 27 2013, 12:09 PM) Can't say partly improve, i dun think anyone wana gamble with " maybe got lucky get good service" this kind of treatment. This is about team work, one ppl not doing their job good means the whole team performance is not good. No matter how good their grandmother story excuses they are given. well thats why i say partly improved. see on the positive side.. hopefully in coming years they will improve.. hopefully la.. or will they just go down the drain

QUOTE(ykgen @ Jun 27 2013, 04:55 PM) i more concern about the CPU temperature CPU temp is usually 10C higher than GPU. and they tend to go higher as high as 100C easily. I haven't really had the time to do benchmark since i re-paste, but so far GPU temp is nice and my CPU temp so far highest hit is around 90C

QUOTE(horns @ Jun 27 2013, 11:21 PM) from the ama session with asus reps, the way they responded were funny; it's like skipping most questions about BGA, soldered cpu, and custom gpu. damn. Yeah i do realize it through after scrolling several pages haha.. WTF man WTF. G750 question.. skipped.. VGA being core lock .. skipped .. people disappointed with their product.. skip~ those easy2 question are the ones answered. I could be an ASUS rep. just skip the whole lot and answer those damn easy question.
