I will picking the Tab S over the new Tab S2, but of coz the newer software part are better because running latest lollipop which more smoother.. But my standpoint because the hardware are not acceptable to me. So pick your choice.

Yesterday I saw it...sometimes they sold it at RM589 which is lowest I saw...the voucher depends on what u get

want to ask, what the best value for tablet that i can get for rm 600, willing to push to rm 700. preferences 10 inch screen + windows (cause i planned to install some windows program such as php dev environment, so that i can code on the go)

I very much agree, seeing that there's only minimal upgrade on the processor.
However, since it's priced similarly, would you still recommend getting the s 8.4 over s2 8.0?

P/S: Seems there's not much seller/retailer having the s 8.4. Except for directD.

A very simple question to ask yourself on how to decide picking this two.

Q: Do you planned to flash CustomROM / Will you willing to learn to flash CustomROM / Do you care about no more Android future update?
A: If Yes, pick Galaxy Tab S (Generation 1); if No, pick Galaxy Tab S (Generation 2)

The S2 is using the same Exynos SoC on the Note 4 and as well running latest Samsung Lollipop Skin (yet*). So basically everything is newer on the previous gen one..

Hi guys, looking for a tablet < RM850 with following requirements

Smooth to do all the internet surfing/whatsapp

Supports Full HD

Other than Mipad, is there any other options out there? or is there any new tablets coming out that fulfill my needs?

New tablet from Asus with FHD haven't arrive I think.

Only some old Acer FHD Tablet, Lenovo Tab S8, Asus MeMoPad 7 and 8 have FHD. (not very old, just last end year 2014 model)
