Lol, Megahouse is it? Megahouse is a subsidiary of Bandai. Many of their figures are from game/mecha-themed anime, in addition to dudes.

^ Megahouse used to have lots of QC issues but they definitely improved a lot lately; Their Queens Blade figures are quite decent.

QUOTE(Flame Haze @ Jun 14 2013, 01:56 PM) That Ikaruga I mentioned is by Vertex, not Volks. Not going for her, can't be sure about the quality. Look at this, also by Vertex. ![]() This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 14 2013, 02:17 PM |

QUOTE(madmoz @ Jun 14 2013, 02:28 PM) actually it feels like things are going downhill for figurines really, with stuff like hottoys getting more and more popular in M'sia, Sg and HK. The problem when they try to deliver in quantity, and quality becomes compromised. Only a selected few company has been consistent with QC so far, like Orchid Seed. But i have seen shit QC involving hot toys before. I simply dun like hot toys if i want a female figure. Females = enjoy nice legs and body, the joints just spoil the beauty like any other action figures.of course, PVCs remain popular in Japan methinks. |

QUOTE(madmoz @ Jun 14 2013, 02:31 PM) Valentine sonico? I have the black bondage version, fantastic, i cant find any flaws on it. Maybe the head should be tighter a bit, but im okay with it. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 14 2013, 02:36 PM |

QUOTE(madmoz @ Jun 14 2013, 02:38 PM) Most figures before year 2008-2009 are not good at all to me. That period was also GSC and Max Factory's glory period. Then other companies stepped up their game.QUOTE(KajumaO2 @ Jun 14 2013, 02:38 PM) Malaysia Animal Porn Club? This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 14 2013, 02:42 PM |

QUOTE(orestes @ Jun 14 2013, 03:41 PM) more pvc coming Stupid motherf**ker Griffon Enterprise, always making tombstones for figures (their base). No idea how lazy they can be. All the figures get a big oval black plastic base with a metal plate in the middle, like you know, the memorial statue of a dead person who may be famous on a big base and a metal plate stating the name, years (such as 1943 - 2001) and brief history. ![]() » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « any of you guys here fussy over seamlines on your figures? Yes, im bothered with seam lines, especially in cast off figures that are poorly designed - their clothes. If it is on the head i can still tolerate a bit. |

QUOTE(shephard86 @ Jun 14 2013, 03:52 PM) Totally agree, I still can tolerate for the base but the bra strap really really make me It's a waste the face is pretty nice, but that bra strap and the base bothers me. Here's 2 out of my 3 griffon figures, that stupid base. If got them on a big sale last time. Their figures are just average.Griffon is simple lazy to me. ![]() |

QUOTE(madmoz @ Jun 14 2013, 04:00 PM) Not when the same thing is being recycled like what Griffon is doing. But i tend to like custom bases and will pay more for it - each figure have their own unique base like Alter's Momohime, GSC's Tohsaka Rin UBW & BRS original ver, etc. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 14 2013, 04:02 PM |

^ I like figures with dynamic poses; And only kneeling/sitting/lying figures have no need for the base

OPPAI arrived
9800yen > discount > 7250yen + Registered SAL. Total RM 330. Max Factory's 1/7 Asama Tomo - Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. Gawd, she's huge, more like 1/6 instead of 1/7 scale to me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 14 2013, 06:59 PM |

Just unboxed her.
Damn, Max Factory really exceeded my expectations with the quality. Just that the meat buns are probably a bit too big when looking at it from some angles. ![]() |
