I have Reiko but not Saeki. Actually I prefer standing-posed figurines more since my display shelves lack horizontal space, but have ample vertical space
*
figures that take up a lot of space stays in box for me, like saeki, the GSC 1/7 Saber Lilies, Alter Vortigern, etc
At least the space taken up isnt doubled (by the box and figure separately).

Looks like most are oppai-type girls. brows.gif My figures are quite diverse.
My latest collection i will post early next month - some of my figures in campus, some at home... gotta compile all of them first.

An email from them after an enquiry:

"Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e-mail and enquires.
We are sorry that we have no planning on the guilty crown figure of Inori Yuzuriha in the short time, sorry about that.
Thanks and best regards,
Sentinel International Co., Ltd"

No idea if it's a long delay or a cancellation. Gawd, Sentinel, please dun cancel Inori T.T

Good Smile is having a Photography contest for GSC's figure owners. Scale Figure only.

I'm IN. But I guess my chances are low =( I dont own a DSLR and i suck in photoshop. /s I'd be happy enough to win a small prize.
1st prize = get any 10 figures of your choice O.o

nice figure there kirino!

kurogane is the photography subject must be a gsc scale figure? i would assume so..

All scale figures by GSC/Max Factory/Phat/FREEing/Gift (any company associated to GSC), and only scale figures.

I have lots of GSC figures, but lacking ideas and a proper DSLR. But i often push my phone's camera capabilities to the limit to get decent shots.

yeah, Alphamax, usually can wait for bargain

Not applicable to Skytube series ero figures though. They might be still available in M'sia but those FAULT girls already kena goreng sky high elsewhere, becoming rare, especially Saeki.

those are 'special' whistling.gif
somehow most Alphamax's figures from popular animes don't sell well  hmm.gif
*
Because they do a shit job on them... Not all but many of them. Sculpts are decent for some of them but ends up screwing up the paint job.
I did have their Touwa Erio and sold it shortly after. She's beautiful but the paintjob on her hair strands and uniform are uneven.

The Fault girls are higher tier figures, comparing to my Erio that i sold, it has ZERO faults, no issues with paint, sculpt, or QC-related problem. This figure alone gave me some confidence about them. Well, it's obvious, 10k+yen figure comparing to popular anime figures that typically go for 6800 to 7800yen...

1/6 scale lolipettan @27cm for only 6800yen. Seriously considering one.
Colors are a bit too bland though.

Go watch the anime called Manyuu Hikenchou and you'll understand why boobs/non-loli cost more. Both in real life and maybe already applies to figures. tongue.gif brows.gif

I dont think material is the reason; PVC is cheap. But, the amount of skill involved to carve a female body figure with natural curves and nice boobs compared to an airport runway body. The same explains why ero figures are expensive. It's all about skills of the sculptor.

figures with more strands separation at the hair are usually more expensive too
*
That explains why many cheaper figures, the paint or sculpt of the hair is terrible. Kotobukiya's Asuna is also bad. sweat.gif
Speaking about fantastic hair sculpting, Tohsaka Rin UBW version is a very good example. It's quite complex.

well yes craftsmanship(painting and sculpting) goes into the price as well but size also has a factor (not much but still got) like the difference between 1/6 and 1/10. and a loli 1/6 is smaller that adult 1/6. tongue.gif
*
Scales have no meaning in figures unless they are under the same product series. Alter's 1/7 loli girls from Nanoha are even bigger than 1/6 scale figures. And some of my 1/8 figures are bigger than my 1/7 figures.

1/6 vs 1/7 vs 1/8 are pretty in the gray area of scales
what he meant 1/10s are usually pretty cheap compared to the scales above
*
That's a given; 1/10 = 15-16cm, very small, only Wave makes 1/10 i think. GSC's 1/8 Inori is 17cm but they call it 1/8 (should be around 1/9) and ask 7800yen for her. sweat.gif Sculpt is good for a small figure but the skin color is just off. Whereas some of my 1/8 scales go up to 23-24cm, not including the base.
