from what i have seen for the kotobukiya shunya cosplay releases, they tend to be on the smallish side, and tend to look a lot better in their promo shots than in real life.

but then again imho kotobukiya's always been run of the mill. like megahouse. nothing spectacular, but nothing extremely poorly made either. consistently average lol.

hmm from the shunya kotobukiya i have the scale difference not really noticeable, but when you compare to the yamato ones then you'd notice.

Im interested in that one. But, no idea if i should order. Koto is also making 1/8 Asama Tomo with shooting arrow pose. If you intend to collect the whole set then you should go for Kotobukiya; I predict they will also make Horizon and other girls. I just bought Max Factory's 1/7 Asama Tomo for the sake of the beauty of the sculpt and paintjob (i value a figure's perfection in quality more than a complete set).
Max's figure is significantly bigger than this one, in fact, close to 1/6 for a 1/7 figure. If i want a set i still need to get Koto's Asama.

Hmm, are there many girls in the series? Didn't watch the anime. Kotobukiya's Asama Tomo sculpt looks nice too, don't mind going for the whole series if they're all something like this.

I dont know many of their names (forgot, to be exact), i watched both seasons. Pretty good but can be difficult to understand in the beginning.
Asama Tomo, Horizon, Kazuno, Aoi Kimi/Bel Flor(your typical big mouthed high and mighty oneesan that looks down on other ppl, with big boob), this lance girl (she's one of the most skilled ones), 2 witch angels that uses their brooms as cannons and railguns, Neito, gawd, there are more. Dont forget about this one, by Alter.

I think the number of girls is almost as many as Strike Witches team.

I don't think I'll go for the whole series, as some of the girls don't appeal to me much (maybe it's their manufactures fault). I'll just get whatever I think nice. And the Alter's pose doesn't catch my fancy, I'll pass. But that one by Volks..... Gonna catch her if she's ever going to be released.

That's why im unlikely to regret buying Max Factory's version of Asama. Collecting the whole set is not easy. I even gave up on Orchid Seed's 7 sins even before trying, given how 2 or 3 out of the 7 are exclusives. Max Factory wont complete a set like Kotobukiya or GSC does; they just randomly choose a character they like and make an awesome figure out of it based on an artwork.
