scales are weird. it's supposed to follow the characters so a loli figure should be small unless it's a giant loli..
I remember kotobukiya got complained their scale are really small and they made it bigger afterwards.

1/6 vs 1/7 vs 1/8 are pretty in the gray area of scales
what he meant 1/10s are usually pretty cheap compared to the scales above
*
That's a given; 1/10 = 15-16cm, very small, only Wave makes 1/10 i think. GSC's 1/8 Inori is 17cm but they call it 1/8 (should be around 1/9) and ask 7800yen for her. sweat.gif Sculpt is good for a small figure but the skin color is just off. Whereas some of my 1/8 scales go up to 23-24cm, not including the base.

Well, I wouldn't say that new stuff sucks and that older releases are better, there were lemons back then, likewise there are lemons now too.

As for scales, don't read too much into them, even the more established companies get them wrong every once in a while.

Finally, after the 'figurine collector = pervert' association, my pet peeve would be the 'figurine collector = i am a rich faq' assumption. Bah, some of my kaki collect watches, one watch can easily buy me a whole cabinet of plastic, my wife collects bags, one bag costs at least two months' worth of amiami invoices lol. Actually I think my hobby is the 'paling murah' one amongst my lot sad.gif

@orestes..yeah..don't know what ruler they were using. thankfully fixed a bit. they made it larger and say it 1/7 now. but rogue looks so small compared to the newer ones now. hope gets updated. biggrin.gif

@madmoz..yeah scales are different according to company, but people still use it as a basic guideline for size. if say 1/8 and then size macam 1/10 for sure people rage. lol.

i think the perception of figurine collector as rich faq comes from the common thinking of "ei just plastic figures why so expensive and wanna collect so many". even some people ask how much is the figure i bought i usually underprice or say i forgot.. sleep.gif
the 'figurine collectors are pervert" thinking cannot avoid since you can see the figures also..but i myself only collect sexy figures instead of hentai figures. tongue.gif

Whatever People collect I'd tend not to comment [NOMYB], due to the fact of free will.

If people start indirect BS comment on others people hobbies, they should look in the mirror before they judge. Saying goes what comes around goes around

@DaSaru
"figurine collectors are pervert"
so your saying people who collect guns are psycho?
