This figure got me counting my wallet again. Too bad pre-orders are full, have to wait till July when she's released and grab her on BiJ. Anyone have issues shipping polystone via EMS?

I didnt buy Asama for the boobs though; She just looked great as a figure to me, and very accurate when compared to the original artwork, not to mention i like Sci-Fi themed/armor suits (but they are heck a lot difficult to set up for photography). Since i know about the background of her character i went for it. She was going for 7250yen at Amiami instead of 9333yen.

Her boobs are inconsistent in the anime though, sometimes it looks too big like Max Factory's figure of her, sometimes it looks ok. These are screenshots form the series, the last image at the bottom, I aligned 3 screenshots taken at fractions of a second and combined them vertically.

was it polystone or cold cast that is very brittle and listed as 'ship at your own risk' at amiami?

I think both

Polystone, Cold Cast and Resin are fragile and brittle. I usually avoid such figures. At least Resin are usually used in Garage kits and come in separate parts.

i don't get the appeal of coldcast/resin..but that's just me and my opinion.

Me too. More expensive and breaks easily. At least they are not affected by heat or leaning issues though.

also don't like how shiny the paint are, but some people like that.

^ I dont mind hair or outfit being slightly glossy, but skin needs to be matte. They are not orang minyak. Bootlegs also tend to have glossy skin.
I prefer gloss at most occasions because they are not easily scratched accidentally. It attracts dust a bit more, but dust doesnt stick on it like glue unlike on some of my figures with matte surface.
