Holy cow "ultra" shit...
16 hours of shit running/walking! what's your targeted distance in 16 hours?

i guess its the 10km boring loop starting from Justice of Palace toward PICC then back, and toward PM office.
*
i've not set my target yet...as long i exceed 50km, i'm satisfy already...not in the mood to hurt myself...besides my priority is just to mingle around with running buddy...

the one recommended by owen suppose to be a good aluminium frame , so i  guess it is a lot better off then entry level carbon ??

so if 7k below just for the bike, how much do i need to allocate for other cycling necessities? is 1k below enough?

please advice thank you

i have 25 and i get stuck as well... the calipers just cannot open wide enough...

solution, just yank it out...the tire will deform to get through the narrow gap between the pads...

usually the gap is determined by the top cap and the top cap bolt length as some top cap has a flat bottom and some has a concave design...so long as the top cap does not touch the nut that should be fine.. it just needs some space for the top cap to compress the stem downwards...

your SL3 fact fork uses a star spangled nut?

not the sl3. this is for my mtb, alu steerer. there's a gap between the top cap and the star fangled nut. i've tightened the top cap (hand tight but tighter than usual pre-load), but still there's a significant amount of play. when i add the spacer, no problem. really puzzled

ohhh...

when you say removed a spacer... you got cut the steerer down? the steerer should not sit flush with the stem or stack of spacers at the highest point as the top cap is indented but sometimes the indentation could still hit the steerer tube rather than slot into the internal diameter of the steerer nicely...

user posted image

this is to prevent it from pressing down on the steerer tube rather than the stem itself...

something like this... there should be a difference in the steerer and stem... if you removed a spacer totally, you need to saw down the steerer.. if you relocated a spacer from the bottom of the stem to the top of the stem, then you don't need...

didn't cut the steerer. but there's sufficient gap between top of steerer to the top of spacer
