I am traveling back to KL from Australia tru Air asia. Any special rule in regards to shipping bicycle? I know they have special allocation for bicycle under "sports equipment" section.

Anyway i am considering thinking getting my bike boxed up but i not sure which one to get. I was considering this few choices:

-Good old cardboard box that came from manufacturer

-Scicon Sci Con Aero Comfort Plus V2.0

-Scicon AeroTech Evolution TSA

-Or some no bran hard case bag like scicon or bikeboxalan

I need to show the bikes customs in check counter so I could claim my GST refund.

Hope to hear from you guys, I do need to do few trip around with my bike by the way

hmm, guess i will continue riding it on, thank goodness the wheel doesn't taco'ed. Just ponder will the frame had weaken and give way if i ride over pothole.

the frame tubes won't usually snap in an instant... even if it does, there are other tubes holding the bike togther... worry about your fork more as the fork has to take on more direct forces...

i rode around in a broken drive side chainstay on my old mtb for a long time many years back... didn't do much serious riding but went as far to kepong on weekends to have breakfast with frienda and the sucker continued going on until i gave up on it...

pm the uae guy and ask him...

if it is one off... buying a case is a waste of money, but if you don't mind... get the hardcases for better protection... only problem is how easily usable is the case, but being a one off thing... it's no worry... jus put extra padding where you can foresee stuff knocking around in the case

it's usual... it actually happens but they might not want to broadcast it on TV much like road side stops for peeing...

they just want to take off the base layer because the weather could be too hot that the base layer are not dissipating heat as quickly...

change meter??? excluding the factor that it gets shot, dropped on the floor and ran over by a car, or eaten by your dog...i think that answer depends on how gatal that fella is and how fast new products get launched...like garmin edge 500 upgrade to garmin edge 510 li tat...

mine changes battery every 7-8 months, head unit... sensors maybe 6 - 9 months depending on which sensor...head unit is the headache one because it is a not so common CR2450...

i got no recommendation la... my recommendation always get rejected... go get what they all buy nowadays lar... garmin edge (miao will tell you it's shit... ) but nothing beats that... or bryton also can rider 30 or rider 50 i think... but dunno where to find..
