hi all.. i got i5 4570@3.2ghz using asrock z87 pro3 and gskill ripjawsx 2133 8gb ram.. i know that i cant oc non k haswell but i tried changing the cpu ratio to 33 instead of 32 and i changed blck to 104.2.. i got 3.4ghz and it is stable.. is it ok to do this? is it will damage my proc? sorry noob here.. 1st time overclocking.. thanks

3.4ghz is a mild OC and is not gonna hurt your chip.

so how high can i go with my setup? currently testing with 3.5ghz and stable so far.. max temp is 70c

Cant really tell you cos every chip has different voltage and overclock ability.
All you need is trial and error.

Hit the wall at 4.4ghz - BSOD directly. Tune up using Asus AI Suite atm, will do bios oc this weekend.
everything in that suite seems so new and unfamiliar to me rclxub.gif

any software to tweak ram timings in the window? else, i'll jump back into the bios.
found in 1st page.
nub in intel oc here.

Thats normal. CPU-Z is more useful for that job.

I cant fix my Bus Speed to 100 even I put manual value & Spread Spectrum Disable
Is that common for Asrock board?
