just a note: HSAQ at 20 May was 1.3347 NAV, 12 June was 1.2801 NAV,...just dropped less than 4% only

again then HS Bal was down about the same % in that period.
maybe will consider switching from Bal to Ponzi since the down % is the same but when up....no horse run. good to go??

HSBal = 100% MY equities
HSQuantum = Asia ex-Japan small-mid caps

the ratio now is 89% HS Bal to 11% HSAQ,
also portfolio is now 85% Mal Eq to 15% Asia Eq...
moving some % to Ponzi and topping my AGEF...when $$ Come

Malaysia is only <2% of world stock cap leh....

Actually for retirement, when cash flow is more important than capital appreciation, I personally find that holding dividend stocks is better.

fyi, my HS dividend fared worst than Ponzi...ponzi is -4%, Dividend is -5%, and again if Up..ponzi wins again.
like you said, short term,..but i was just comparing the volatility of my funds given the same mkt condition at the same time.

Today most markets up... dont know what top up a little or not?!!!

Do not know why funds have very Grand names but performance wise could be exactly the reverse.
