now ARM also announced cortex a15
also support 4k resolution TV @@
wonder how the performance compare to A15

btw, don't know since when a lot company focus on smartphone / tablet instead desktop / laptop
example, intel and nvidia ~.~
now latest intel processor called haswell right ? 4th gen intel core i3, i5 and i7 processor @@
sorry for a bit OT

ARM A15 been announced for quite a while, and Octa is based on A15.

Unless "Cortex A15" is something quite different?

Haswell is only about 10% better than Ivy Bridge, but up to 25% lower power consumption. Wait for the next generation. I'm sticking with my Z77 for now.

Maybe the Note 5 could get a nice Intel low power CPU tongue.gif

ARM A15 different with Cortex A15 ???
I thought is ARM Cortex A-15 ??

for performance not really care about it, prefer power consumption especially on laptop
desktop then need performance rather than power whistling.gif
by the time note 5 out = 2 more years
by that time already got flexible screen

Just wanna ask about themes that comes with ROMs. How do I apply these themes? I selected them in AROMA but the ROM is still stock themed. ie. Du@lNote ROM's AOSP theme.

*** ANNOUNCEMENT ***

Grand Survey v3 is up

Now it provides:
  • ROM+Version (including selectable arbitrary Date for Nightlies)
  • Kernel + Version (including selectable arbitrary Date for Nightlies)
  • Stock Kernel as an option with default score
  • Screen on Time selector - as an indicative measure of battery life
I'm now working on the more complex charts to show all these values meaningfully, but the basic count (ie Most Popular/Top 10) charts are up now.

No idea about the icon pack tongue.gif

I think you should update to 4.1.2 since it has the exynos SDS fix. Your name is Jorga?

I read somewhere that the HTC 4.2.2 update finally allows you to have the battery icon percentage or some insignificant feature. This means that HTC removed a lot of useful stuff from the stock UI, then when they release it you go "whoooo".

sai86. Please heed joytest advice above. Update your note 2 to latest 4.1.2 to reduce risk of SDS (This means total brick of your phone)

Note II's stock ROM is not laggy, basically you don't need to use custom ROM on it. It's very smooth.

Having said that I'm using custom ROM though for the black and white theme. laugh.gif
