That's a socket 775 pentium or EARLIER? If so it will be good to upgrade but if your main usage is mobile then get a nice notebook, I'm sure you can afford one.

Or a Note 8.0? tongue.gif

Oh then it's still good to go. i7 still rocks unless you want 90FPS in Crysis 3 or some of the current games.

Within the first week I think some have reported they give you 1-to-1.

Here's what the Averaged scores from the survey now look like. I haven't made a graph yet, but can you all take a look and provide feedback if any.

the blue text are the added scores for both ROM and Kernel, so a higher total score will mean a good combination, but this is counterbalanced by the SOT value, so this will provide a fair indicator of how good a ROM+Kernel combo is and also gives you a chance to decide if the estimated SOT is worthwhile.

Last time when I claimed RMA, I had to wait around a month to get a replacement. However, that time was close to CNY, so I can understand the delay.

However, a few months back I followed my friend to claim RMA for his Sandisk SD card, and he got his replacement card on the spot. Apparently, they are aware of this problem, so if they don't want to give you a replacement on the spot, just tell them that you read an official statement from Sandisk that they are aware of this problem. They should replace yours on the spot.

All the best! nod.gif

A few are test data, since I found that for a specific ROM version, it will only show 1 kernel value instead of all. Well, that's a limitation of the graphing function on Google Sheet.

I suppose it will take a few days to get some meaningful values.

Everyone else, please submit your entries.

==================

IMHO, I think this is the practical best that can be done for determining "bestness" of ROM+Kernel combos.

The only other refinement I can think of is allowing selectable Stock ROM and Kernel versions. I will not be doing that....

i have no idea what you just said

anyways, devil is pretty much perseus on AOSP so its pretty good. their devilq governor is also more aggressive in changing up the freq (by which i mean more battery friendly)

I will try to sketch some arrows and try to explain a bit...but essentially the graph cannot show all the data we want. The detail data for drill down will have to be shown via a separate table.
