So tehoice ... looks like a factory reset is necessary, perhaps due to your naughty apps. I suggest you remove those patcher programs first.

Depends on what you want to do. If you have been a flashoholic and want to continue, read posts 6,7,8. If you just want to enjoy it, then read posts 12 and 13 for apps and accessories. Posts 3 and 4 are general info on the device and its features.

Forumers in post 9 are sifus in this thread which you may summon for help but do your homework first.

Welcome and also add yourself via the form in post 4.

stock fw is usually tar or tar.md5, which I'm not sure if CWM/TWRP can recognise. benny888 or antt00 may clarify.

You are using both Note 2 and S4?

Clear your APN and re-add? Are you on home wifi?

Try browsing anywhere. If browsing is fine, some servers may be having problems.

Are you on Celcom? Celcom blocks (used to block?) Playstore access from 8pm to 3am, that's why I switched back to Maxis.

LOL new phone maaa.... to buy or not to buy... I hope I answered your question. Mobile Odin has a free version that can perform flashing, just that it won't inject root automatically into the new ROM.

I think the first one is the Devil Recovery which someone said it sucked. Even the OP Der_Teufel also mentioned it sucked, and he's still trying to make it better.

The 2nd file should be the kernel.

Errr.... some ROM instructions I've read state that you flash the ROM first then flash gapps. At one go with TWRP I'm not sure, and you are throwing in a kernel to the mix.

Technically I don't see why you can't. It's just issuing successive mount and write commands.

For plain surfing plus some whatsapp, 2gb is fine. Don't youtube or download large files. My 3g is on all the time but wifi at home.
