Guys i just flash to the latest version of wanamlite rom and adam kernel on my note 2. However it seems i unable to get and reach to 3G ,H or H+ data speed. Its capped at E and G.. anyone know what is the problem?

probably your modem, if you use the one that comes by default with wanam, then i suggest you change it.

WTA~~i wana flash my note2 but i love the functions of the s pen...do i lose all the functions of the s pen if i flash a crom or is there a crom out there that can still give me full features of the s pen like the stock rom?

that would depend on what service you're using. i'm using digi, and by far i think xxdlk7 is the best one for it. for other services you can check post 3 in page 1, under 3G Signal Related Questions and Helpful Answers.

Just ROM or rom is enough or u can go all the way with custom rom.

I believe most TouchWiz based rom retain all the SPEN function..korek me if ayam wrong..

4. surprise tech in camera
5. surprise tech in Spen, called the Note Pen
6. surprise android 4.3 / 5.0
7. surprise accessories (please samsung dewa, give us wireless charging, docks)

TW ROM = keep all functions like stock, or gimmicks whichever you like
AOSP ROM = pure Android goodness, but IMO, boring. but i'm old so boring is good. my longest surviving ROM, Sentinel AOSP fantabulous ROM

Thanks a lot.. I was thinking to reflash the rom and choose the modem again.

Actually we are at the plateau sort of phase like laptops/notebooks were 3-5years ago. Anything else you want to add is largely incremental. The only real surprise will probably be double SOT with the same capacity battery, or one like the Ascend Mate's.

Alex, all the stuff you list are incremental improvements, but welcome nonetheless.

Unbreakable screen may come 2 generations down the line. Camera, I don't know, maybe Carl Zeiss will be good

some game changer like how haswell will be

so

1. massive new CPU+GPU processor with 50% improvement in battery life in any condition
2. new 4K screen
3. new micro USB 3.0
4. SSD speed internal memory (like how apple is doing PCI-e chips, so about 700MB/s)
5. massive new camera tech. either Ultrapixel like or PureView type, doesn't matter. They need DSLR quality on a sub 7mm chassis.
6. sapphire crystal manufactured on the cheap with gorilla glass flexi tech

The SoC probably supports USB3 natively but you will need a new fatter connector. I suspect it will not be so soon until they come up with some connector that can carry USB3 without changing size, like what they did for the USB A connector (the one you plug to the PC USB port).

What more surprises have you got in store for us, O Prophet?

2. email to be revamped (god please)
3. an Android Control Center on the web browser to remotely manage the phone

2. super fast charging (maybe like 55w)
3. xenon flash


TW rom is good for the battery and to use all the functions!!

but AOSP is awesome because possum

and as joytest said... maybe for Note... it's reached the top and maybe no more surprises?
