and as joytest said... maybe for Note... it's reached the top and maybe no more surprises?
*
they could surprise us with:
1. surprise intel proc to me.
mydragoon: phone's gotta have one. the only surprise i get is when they say they dun need one on a smartphone.
Agreed!!!
2. surprise new amoled screen tech with unbreakable screen, aka Gorilla Glass 4
mydragoon: not really a surprise. i mean, we have GG. GG4 or whatever is like joytest said... incremental and nothing really 'new'.
my new post, unbreakable unscratchable flexible sapphire glass
3. surprise new polycarbonate / aluminium / adamantium / titanium / carbon fibre build
mydragoon: if go alum... it's not surprise for me. it's a stepbackwards. but ya, rumours did say of non-replaceable battery in s5. but again... this is nothing 'ground break and new'.
adamantium sounds new
4. surprise tech in camera
mydragoon: unless they say can take x-ray... otherwise, what else is new abt camera? more MP?
DSLR quality?
5. surprise tech in Spen, called the Note Pen
mydragoon: errr... got real difference?!?
got. you can write on table, or any surface and it displays to scale on your phone, take that innovation
6. surprise android 4.3 / 5.0
mydragoon: i'd be surprised if we dun get that...
surprise Android 6.0
7. surprise accessories (please samsung dewa, give us wireless charging, docks)
mydragoon: we dun have wireless charging yet? but we can easily just get some accessories, no?
nope we don't officially. maybe inertial charging?
8. with the above, are you still surprised?
mydragoon: nope... as joytest put it... those are incremental and more an evolution rather than revolution. i'm just wondering what other innovation can Samsung put into Note that makes it a 'Note'.

Well, if everybody stops looking at it as a phone and more of a computer, it already has about 90% functionality of a computer and a dumb terminal (TeamViewer, Kainy, JumpDesktop etc).

The only main difference is perception of aesthetics, because it is handheld and not a laptop type form factor.

Some statement floating around on the net says that the smart soldier does not carry a gun with a non-removable magazine, should a smart phone-user then carry a phone with a non removable battery?

Notice the difference in semantics between :
smart phone user, and
smartphone user

So everybody has to make some motion to charge the phone?

Since it's Samsung, doing the Gangnam Style can charge your phone 200% faster then? tongue.gif

EDIT: I think the correct term is kinetic energy charging?

From Kies or Sammobile. For sammobile, you'll need Odin, both PC and Mobile works fine. Man sure it is under PDA when you select the source. There is a guide on Page 1 thou
