My computer doesn't play avi files(all avi files) properly! Both the Windows Media player 10 and the Real player. Only sound comes out, no video at all! I have tried k-lite codec and Gspot, they don't help! What should i do? |

i have this common problem with klite codec. why is it when we play avi movies, the speaking voices is too faint and cant be heard clearly but when there is music or explosives, the volume is suddenly very loud. we need to slide up and down the volume slider regularly throughout the movie. any solution for this?

The ffdshow audio decoder has DD 5.1 and DTS decoder in itIf you don't want it, you can also use the AC3Filter to decode for you |

Hi, i would like to know, is there any codec or software that can open a TS file? I've tried win media player classic and VLC player, both are unable to determine the file format. Thanks

Hi.
I found this usefull wiki link of codecs. Maybe this can help alot and can be put on first thread. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_codecs and here is comparison container format table (I can't explain here, just check the link) : - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_container_formats Also, here's a link to convert almost anything to anything : http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ This post has been edited by abe_mad: Nov 2 2006, 12:10 PM |
