Guys.I download a movie.The graphic is fine but the audio have some prob.The audio volume so small,I have to tune up to the max of the speaker volume only can hear but also not so loud either.Izzit the file prob or my codec got prob or need to do some changging to the audio codec??

I think this maybe caused by AC3 filter setting. Try to increase the "Master" to maximum (under "Gains") by accessing AC3 panel.

High chances it is in AC3. Like what keyz suggested, raise the main volume of it. If its like normal mp3/vorbis/aac, normalise the audio or apply some gain to it

Thx Guys,it's work! Er,I abit confuse here.That means whatever file that have AC3 filter will have the same volume if i set to master d?Or diff files diff settings?

hi~my friend got a problem after installed the k-lite codec basic newest version 3.20...after install then play everything without sound....but movie can play...wat's the problem? setting?

what audio type is encoded into the container?

Guys,I dl an anime.I can heard the background sounds but i can't heard their voices(people's talk).Izzit my codec prob,need settings or maybe the file prob?

set the ffdshow audio mixer like this:

change all the value to 2 or 3 if the sound is too low, or disable drc.

I disable my custom matrix and normalize matrix and change my channel to 2(old is 5).It works.I think is the channel prob Thx for helping me out 1024kbps ^^

i dl anime movies with h264 video format with AAC.5.1 audio codec...
ok here is the problems...

if i play with VLC,

picture movement: smooth
audio: stereo

if i play with Media Player Classic,

picture movement: jerk/lagging
audio: surround sound aka 5.1 channel

wat should i do so i can play the movie with smooth picture movement with surround sound 5.1 channel output?

divx
xvid
mastroka pack
real/quicktime alternative
VLC

i prefer to play the file with VLC as by default it already got aspect ratio 16:10....media player classic only got 16:9...my notebook support aspect ratio 16:10 if wanna play fullscreen....16:9 will leave black bar on top n bottom....

any ideas?

i manage to dl from some other website...file name is coreavc1300.exe....doesnt say anything abt payment or sort of...this codec is free or not? or izzit got trial or smthg like that? but it does working like a charm in MPC...everythg is smooth!

izzit? will try k lite mega codec later on...but i think i did install b4, but kindda not into it...so i just uninstall it....

K-lite mega codec's CoreAVC inclusion is also version 1.3.0.0 pro = not trial but full working version

So the 1 you downloaded from the website is the full working version. Enjoy with it. Even an old GF 4 MX 440 with CoreAVC can watch 720p videos flawless with a P4 2.4 Ghz. So sicne ur notebook is using ATI X1400 and I assume your notebook's processor is also quite good, then it shouldn't be a problem at all, enjoy your h264 videos in 720p and maybe 1080p without any lag
