Is K-lite Mega codec(or any K-lite codec pack) friendly? I mean, does it leave junks on the computer after uninstallation?

I've just removed the bloated Nero 7 from my computer and I now have a computer that cannot play most videos. Lol.. And Nero leaves lots of junk file and registry on the computer. sad.gif

So, there are all kinds of code here.
Which is the best one to get?

Mind to tell me?

I'm using FFDShow. Seems like working fine...
Is there any other code that you recommended and better than FFS Show?

ARghh, I tried a few codec and yet I can't get 1280x720 H264 stuff to play well. 720x480 H264 don't seem to have any problem.

I've tried K-lite, CoreAVC and CCCP. Is it my PC really that outdated can't render it smoothly. I'm using Pentium M 1.3ghz with 512mb ram.

The video always freeze and skip a few frame, the subtitles doesn't sync with the audio.

Is there any tweak that allowed it to play smoothly, I don't mind some quality lost which is acceptable.
