The reason is that I'm very used to Sygate already. I tried using Outpost but it crashed with my Avast! So I reverted back to Sygate.

Oh, you mean Options? Care to show me the method? Thanks a lot. smile.gif

Hello guys. I have a problem here. I'm using Sygate Personal Firewall Pro now. I notice that my Sygate takes a very long time to load if my LAN connection is on when I boot my PC. But when I don't switch on my LAN connection during the PC startup, Sygate loads very quickly. In the end, I can only switch on my LAN connection after Sygate loads. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

I'm using version 5.6.3408. It's a pro edition. I remembered trying the latest free edition, same problem too.

super macgyver, Don't you think that posting your MSN Address is rather inviting SPAM and BOTs? Hope you can edit accordingly. Just reminding. smile.gif Cheers!

I changed to a few others, such as Comodo (simple and easy but personally not liking it tongue.gif), Look'n'Stop (rules-based, not recommend for newbie, have a prob - making pc slow shutdown), now using Outpost (so far so good, not prob yet for 2 weeks+)
