Keep hiring non stop meaning finding cheaper slaves from the market to replace their existing employees.
Mean they probably practicing "churn and burn" management tactics.
They will probably make use of some kind of so call mgmt methodology to remove their existing employees to be replace by cheaper one.
first you have to understand why they opened their office here in KL . not just swift , but every companies that set up here in KL.
secondly , retrenchment would not be affected here in KL , at least for now . Currently all around the world were in the midst of bringing down numbers of employee to reduce the cost (like pensions,re-skilling,perks and benefits) . some companies need to achieve target to employ 1-5 new talents every month .like in other European country , their target is to reduce at least -5 existing employees
For example , can you imagine if we (senior level) could receive the same benefit from Europe (like company car that can be replace every 4-5 years , including maintenance , gas , tyres and so forth) ? I bet you wont , unless you are good . sorry not "good" , But , damned good .
how to survive in this wave ? i have told in my prior post. Re-skilling . learn new tech , be certified on something (AWS,RHCE,ISQTB, and so forth)
even me myself have to re-learn about problem solving foundation via online courseware in edX.org.
so , i could stay valued in the company . Else i can move on without any heartbreak.

is it? i do see many ppl wif high qualifications and highly skilled here, your 'fren' must be smoking some weed i guess
and my salary is well above average for my experience and position
they are aggressively expanding now, that is why they non stop hiring, turnover is low over here, dont simply bullshit if u duno what is happening in this company
hmm for this part , i would like to advise you to re-look at my
post hereput this in your mind , tightly :-
Reminiscing those times... job offers, increment, adjustments were based on X% of last salary. It plays well with the employers until they found out they can't beat the market especially when talents keep thinning through attrition.yes , even Swift unable to beat market . they have to do some technique to allure the candidate and the art of persuasion, by giving them so-called work life balance , benefits and perks , travel to the parent company every year. Yes , it works , especially for newbies and fresh grads. But not for experienced professional who worked 10-15 years as they seen already the pro/cons on their salary increment and career advancement.
imagine the candidate who received salary like around 20k per month , in ringgit. after several vetting process , yes he was received that chunk of money on his prior employer . but the potential employer unable to pay because it is HR to make the call. They have to offer around 10k only which is quite unsatisfied. Why?
Because they need to control this . They unable to beat the global market . usually 20k is for somebody working as country manager. Even Head or department should not getting that figure.
i have advised my colleague who's already achieved that salary ceiling ..to spread his wing to another country , and from there , he will know what is "sky is the limit" all about.
