DASH is good. Should build more highway to ease the traffic flow.

Please dun complaint toll expensive and why pay toll still so jam lar.

Those toll free road normally have lubang here and there need to wait for long time only got people come to repair. My fren father was died in a motorcycle accident because of these hole. So i guess some will be willing to pay for toll, especially those who want a better maintained road to take care of their car. I myself also kena few time at ldp to bukit jalil direction. Got 1 time tyre cover was come out after hit the hole.

For Rawang and Kuang ppl heading to Bandar Utama, just use NKVE then exit at Mutiara Damansara NKVE/DASH interchange

Instead of exiting only at Damansara or Sungai Buloh!

The latest Prolintas slides shows a fully covered sound barrier, this looks like a win win solution...

May I know where can I download the latest report? I can't seem to find it anywhere...

DASH has two choices of alignment left to reach penchala link

1) NKVE Kota Damansara ---> PJU 7/7 ---> PJU 7/1 ---> PJU 7/9, Totally avoiding Damansara Perdana in this respect
2) NKVE Kota Damansara ---> PJU 8/1 ---> Penchala Link

Taking a step back, Damansara Perdana residents shall look at Bandar Menjalara Jalan 2/62, MRR2, DUKE 2 highway is running literally beside their house! At least DASH has a 12m buffer each side from their condo CAR PARK!

Selangor denies Kota Anggerik rep’s statement on DASH approval

The Selangor government has denied that the Damansara-Shah Alam (DASH) elevated highway at the Petaling Jaya alignment has been approved.

Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong told The Malaysian Insider that only the DASH alignment at Shah Alam has been approved in the Shah Alam City Council Local Plan.

“The DASH alignments in the amendments to the Petaling Jaya Draft Local Plan (RTPJ2), that is up to the last interchange at the NKVE (New Klang Valley Expressway), had undergone a public hearing process.

“We are still waiting for the panel to meet to discuss the findings. As such to say that the state has approved DASH is incorrect,” Wong, who is the Selangor executive council (exco) member in charge of tourism, consumer affairs, and environmentsaid.
A report in the StarMetro today had quoted Kota Anggerik assemblyman Yaakob Sapari as saying that the Selangor government had approved the DASH project on all technical standpoints.

He had said that the green light for the project had been kept under wraps due to protests from various quarters.

“Various groups will protest every new development but if the project fulfils all the requirements, there is no problem approving it.

“In the case of DASH, only about 12% of those who would be affected are protesting, and their properties only make up 200m of the 20.4km stretch,” the report had quoted him as saying during the Yes-2-Dash Y2D family day in Cahaya SPK Clubhouse.

Wong, who had been liaising with the Say No To Dash (SNTD) group, said Yaakob should have checked with the state government if any decisions had been made on DASH.

“Yaakob might not be aware of what is currently being discussed. He is more focus on the Shah Alam alignment which has been approved,” she said.

Selangor exco member Elizabeth Wong says it is not true that the entire DASH project has been approved. – The Malaysian Insider file pic, October 5, 2015.

Wong said that the Selangor exco's decision that the alignment in the RTPJ2 should be incorporated up to the NKVE still remained.

“Anything beyond that, the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) must continue to discuss and propose alternatives to the affected residents of Mutiara Damansara and Damansara Perdana,” she said.

Meanwhile, SNTD spokesman Michelle Wong said that Selangor Menteri Besar Mohammed Azmin Ali must respect the wishes of Damansara Perdana residents and they looked forward to him keeping his promise.

“By keeping mum and allowing Yaakob to issue a claim that a multi-billion infrastructure project to which they (Selangor government) "kept the green light under wraps" if true would show hypocrisy of a government that is supposedly advocating transparency and accountability to its people.

“This is so wrong in so many ways and is akin to institutionalising oppression towards the people of Petaling Jaya,” she said.

Michelle said that the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) hearing recently had already announced the Selangor exco's decision to only include the portion of DASH into RTPJ2 that does not include the portions objected, which are Damansara Perdana and Mutiara Damansara.

“Once again, SNTD is not objecting to the whole of DASH, only the segment that is going through Damansara Perdana. On our part, we will have a residents meeting soon and Azmin’s statement or non-statement will be our main discussion point,” she said.

The residents had been objecting to DASH since 2012 because they claimed that it was too close to residential homes in their area, with some barely more than 11 metres away from the expressway.

DASH, costing about RM4 billion, will be a 20.1km, three-lane expressway. The areas along the proposed route for DASH are Shah Alam's Puncak Perdana U10, Alam Suria, Denai Alam, Kampung Melayu Subang, Rubber Research Institute Malaysia, Kota Damansara, Mutiara Damansara and Damansara Perdana.

It will then link users to the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and Sprint highways.

The expressway will also serve motorists from Puncak Perdana, Alam Suria, Denai Alam, Kampung Melayu Subang, Jalan Sungai Buloh, the Rubber Research Institute Malaysia, Kota Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Mutiara Damansara. – October 5, 2015.

We should continue the highway to cross over hartamas and damansara heights straight to sg besi. More convenience for all. Then link denai alam area via an interchange with the meru / klang hinterland.

the kl part may a bit difficult.
if MBSA allow persiaran sultan with elevated highway, dash connect to LKSA can be a good choice.

go parallel with mrt2. line up from sg buloh to the ldp interchange area lor.

let the dash go slightly further to bandar sri damansara before swinging back to penchala.
potential share cost for section of the elevated highway with MRT. side by side the tracks for this section.

skip the entire DP township.

the path can be done but most likely people from sham alam side will just exit nkve (kota damansara) and take jalan duta.

Good idea as long as it doesn't fly by 11m from my apartment at DP.
