Definitely DASH is needed as the population in that area is growing very fast. Govt has direct interest in Kwasaland and indirect interest in Elmina.

Execution is contentious and difficult.

agreed to your statement.... as that area is growing really fast.... as in the landed properties there are more to what the people afforded to stay.... and they willing to pay the toll to use DASH... so its doesnt make sense for government to let the project totally scrap off.... tongue.gif tongue.gif

I guess is the stretch which cut through mutiara damansara which is heavily protested by the residence. the link from Shah alam to penchala link is much needed and long overdue.

DASH to LDP southbound needs a underpass or something that can cater large volume of traffic

still debate.. lol.

DASH is needed but not build the flyover just 7m next to the building.

As long as the alignment of DASH highway is corrected, I believe there shouldn't be anything to protest about. Keeping my fingers crossed even though I do not have any property in this part of Shah Alam.

Win win for all means making a fully enclosed highway at the damansara perdana section, noise and dust also reduced.

What does DAESH stands for? biggrin.gif Ive been to cities like taipei and elevated paid highways are smack in right next to buildings, sometimes few stacks of highway on top of each other... definitely helps to relieve the traffic at-grade level...

Daesh is an acronym. It stands for the Arabic name of the Islamic State: al-Dawla al-Islamiya fi al-Iraq wa al-Sham.

SUKE-DASH: Selangor peduli, ubah reka bentuk demi rakyat
OLEH: LIZAWATI MADFA

SHAH ALAM, 30 MAC: Kerajaan Negeri mengambil kira keluhan rakyat dan mencari solusi sesuai dalam pembinaan Lebuhraya Bertingkat Sungai Besi – Ulu Kelang (SUKE) dan Lebuhraya Damansara – Shah Alam (DASH).

Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, berkata beberapa pandangan diambil kira termasuk mengubah reka bentuk jajaran demi kesejahteraan penduduk.

Highway lowered to match car park level, view not disturbed
Soundproofing along DP to satisfy DP residents
With these design consideration, the residents should be pretty pleased liao, not many gets to enjoy such design benefit..

Protest works. Like KIDEX cancelled. Those not cancelled would have go on, but less of an eyesore, less sound pollution, etc. Some protest also no toll.

Jangan kena buli!
