QUOTE(mavezai1984 @ Jul 11 2013, 03:43 PM) i3-2100 / 2120 is Sandy bridge counterpart while i3-3210 / 3220 is with Ivy bridge. Different between 3210 & 3220, only clock speed. Go for 3220 if u're hunting for new processor. 3220 even btter then 3210?? but 3220 have 2.8 clock speed while 3210 have 3.2 clock speed.. |

Because it's a gaming rig and i scare it will overheat too fast. Thanks in advance for any constructive feedbacks ye=) Looking forward for it |

QUOTE(DaRkAnDTwisTeD @ Jul 14 2013, 12:45 PM) Thanks mav..however there's few questions pop up on my mind thou 1. 550w is sufficient for the setup, dont worry bro. If u prefer more juice, switch to Seasonic S12II 620w for rm299.1) Will 550w psu enough for this setup? 2) Will this setup sufficient enough to handle GTA IV and the upcoming GTA V? 3) Does it need another extra cooler? Because it's a gaming rig and i scare it will overheat too fast. Thanks in advance for any constructive feedbacks ye=) Looking forward for it 2. GTA IV is piece of cake. As for current games, probably no problem maxing out 90% games out there at 1080p. 3. Well, pick up a few Arctic F12 case fan for cases and you're good to go. As for proc, just settle with stock cooler as its not overclockable, stock heatsink will do the job fine. This post has been edited by mavezai1984: Jul 14 2013, 01:31 PM |

QUOTE(dannykhoo17 @ Jul 14 2013, 04:50 PM) For below 2k.. I think you can get a setup that could run the games he mentioned at normal - high. Perhaps something like this.. CORE I3 3220 RM364 MSI B75MA-P45 RM229 Kingston 8GB Ram RM194 SAPPHIRE 7850 2GB RM599 Any DvD drive RM59 WD Blue 500GB RM159 FSP Hexa 500W RM149 Total RM1,753 Remaining you can spend it on the casing. This setup has a better graphic card in that video and most games these days are GPU intensive so yeah perhaps this build can satisfy you already. |
