ASRock Z77 Pro4-M Motherboard
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Pro4-M/

ASRock Z77 Pro3 Motherboard
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Pro3/

Which 1 is better?
I cant differenciate it...
*
Both are basically same chipset and have the same basic features.
On the link, just click the specifications to compare both in details.
The most significant difference is size, Pro4-M is mATX, Pro3 is ATX.
ATX longer than mATX.

i think this good enough..just one question, is it FSP Hexa 500W a good PSU?
*
Yup it is a good PSU for tight budget users.
FSP is the manufacturer of some brands' power supply.
Currently using this psu on my sis rig and it is working good, while my sis is using my rig tongue.gif .

Sory for interrupted . Is this build good enough to play game hon dota 2 . How about game crisis.. love this build 2k with monitor.
*
For dota2 and hon, max graphic setting at 1080p resolution no problem at all smile.gif .
For Crysis, Max setting may be not so playable since it barely hits 30fps. So turn down setting by little at med-high may achieve average 60fps smile.gif .

Dear all, any amendment/improvement I should make for the following gaming build to make it more value for money?

i5 4570
ASUS H87M-E
8GB 1600 Kingston RAM
1TB WD Blue
DVD Rom
Sapphire HD7790
CM Elite 371
AcBel 550w 80PLUS PSU

My curiosity:
Possible for me to save some bucks on my mobo? Not going to overclock, don't need too many card slot either.
Is it advisable to go for Haswell(i5 4570) than the old Ivy Bridge processors? Since my mobo will also need to change to support newer processor.
Any other cheaper casing?
*
Upgrading from sandy to ivy/haswell u wont see much improvements. If the games that u are gonna play is more graphic intensive, just upgrade your graphic card will do.

One of the example,

For more details, http://www.anandtech.com/show/7003/the-has...54560k-tested/6

A quote from an article to explain briefly what haswell aimed for:
QUOTE
Haswell is all about power-saving and improved integrated graphics. In other words, the 4th Generation Core architecture is built for mobile computing, not the humble ol’ desktop where we wont see the funky new Iris Pro graphics except in BGA trim.

On the desktop things haven’t really moved on since Sandy Bridge arrived on the scene many moons ago. And to be honest if you’re sat on an i5 or i7 Sandy Bridge chip then you’re arguably better off sticking with your current CPU/mobo configuration and spending the cash on something like the Nvidia GTX 770 if you’re after a gaming boost.

Zotac GTX760 RM899

Lite-On DVD-RW RM58
Dell S2240L LED IPS RM489

Now I lacks casing, but I don't know which one to choose? Any things I should look up for when choosing a proper case?

EDIT: Is there any difference in performance between the 1150 socket and the 1155 socket?
*
Ways to choose casing:
1. Budget
2. Personal preference
3. The interior design and features available of the case
4. Have a look and testing the case if possible.

Performance difference between haswell & ivy is little only. You can refer to my previous post about it.

No really sure where to ask this but since this is for my Desktop...

Does anyone know where I can get these: http://www.floorbox.co.uk/rectangular_grommet

Here in Malaysia? Or do I really have to import them? sweat.gif
*
This type of thing u may find it in furniture shops, or hardware shops.
Else try ask a tukang kayu/aluminum to see if they can help to custom make it.

You mean Obsidian 350D brows.gif ? The looking and features pretty good, but no chance to see & test it myself yet.

Weird, shinobi window is offering 2x usb2.0 and 2x usb3.0 from some garage sellers as well as the official website.

Why is intel i7 not often suggested even if high budget? Not worth?

i7 is more for heavy mathematical processing and algorithms stuff?
*
Not something that not worth, it depends on your main usage/purpose of the rig.
Yes, generally i7 has better performance than i5 or lower series processors for heavy tasks.

I prefer to get the casing something which the psu is the lowest  part of the casing. xeon better than core i7 ?
my internet speed is good for streaming ady. tq for advise.
*
Then NZXT Source 210 might fit your choice of putting psu at the lower part of inside the chasis.
Xeon not better than i7, but it offers very similar performance which spec comes with 4 cores and hyperthreading like i7.
