Really keen on HTC one.. my first PDA(with stylus..haha!) was a HTC and i really felt its high quality (materials and built) and the best voice call quality. But after that other companies came out with better phones. Then i got HTC Mozart..another solid build. But batt really sucked and cust/ software support really lacked. I cant afford to change phone too often so is there anything that disappoints you guys so far before i get this for my own?

From my 1 week testing with the camera, HTC One color is abit dull as pointed by agito666 before. I put saturation +1 most of the time. Color definitely more to warm especially on low light.

I dislike One don't have metering setting on the camera. The metering can screw up the whole image exposure most of the time since it seem using spot metering instead of matrix.

Other than that, I am actually quite satisfied with it smile.gif Picture come out ngam my taste and good thing about 4mp, pic not big in size and also smaller resolution though the disadvantage come when you wanna do cropping.

Havent really tested video yet, no chance.

Special/unique features.. I guess as per advertise already tongue.gif But i hope they improved blink feed and Zoe to be more customize able in future.

Oh great smile.gif whats the average size of a full size/quality picture ?

the only disappointment is I kenot use the aluminum body as rugged phone laugh.gif since it can scratch and dented
Other than that, no disappointment. Battery life is subjective for me but it satisfies my daily usage with a single charge (unless night time I got event then I will charge full again in office around 3pm).

Size perfect for my small palm since my thumb able to reach another end of the phone to perform swype on keyboard. Speaker definitely the best in current smartphone world. Nothing much to shout on camera since it performed as advertise, get brighter photo in lowlight in lower ISO setting (but they din said free noise didn't they?).

HTC Zoe is nice for creating moment but hope it could be more customize able. Hopefully in future. Blinkfeed too. Alot people complain power button and the 2 captive button at 1st but now din see them complain anymore. As for me, it is all about you willing to learn and get used to it or not.

Sense 5 definitely become my favourite UI after Sony Timescape. It is smooth and icon has better look design.

So, here are my comment in HTC One. Sometime I think that it is about you willing to adjust urself to the device or not. Not the device adjust for you.

So if you really like and fall in love with HTC One, whack only! thumbup.gif

so far, again, i would recommend this as the best smartphone available in the world nowadays (not sure about next month and so on la.. lol)

i was very picky with smartphone.. if you were often in this forum, maybe you can recall i complaint here and there tongue.gif tongue.gif .. even the best from samsung last time, Note 2, still has too many glitches here and there.. but this time, HTC one, the only thing i voiced out was the side bezel, in which you can see it is not very nicely done... other than that, this is the best thing in my pocket everyday, using it with a smile, not with headache as before.. i recommend this to anyone, especially to iphone user who want some refreshment. biggrin.gif

Less than 1MB. Resolution around 2048 X 1520 with 4:3 ratio smile.gif

Guys, Peter Chou's fate depends on the One.

http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/21/4352838/...uction-problems

Interesting to note that he spearheaded the One's project from beginning to the end despite warnings of production shortages. Like him-hate him thing going on here. Hope he gets to stay on at HTC anyways.

haha...i dont have any reasons to change my note 2 for 8 months until H1 come out..the biggest attraction when i used note 2 is the battery life but i dun like touchwiz and all its duplicated bloatware.. come the H1, everything solved..from battery life to great design and feel to minimalist os.. ppl always say no sdcard n all,man i have 32gb sdcard on my note 2 which i cannot install app inside.. shakehead.gif

that is odd, despite of how we love HTC One, the company is on utter freefall? i think the marketing department which fails, Samsung outcompete them in advertisement.. Even to us gadgets enthusiast we've been waiting for the launch of HTC One, but irony when i bring my phone around folks, they will ask, what phone is that? you see, people will not buy if they doesn't know it exist and attracted to it, simply rule of thumb.. while S4 cheap plastic is selling like hot cake (english) pisang panas (maleis) and iphone user still in their shell afraid to look up look outside.. i always keep my eyes to HTC, as i know they always have something different than anyone else in the market.. KEEP UP HTC

I think the real problem with HTC One is that they can't ship em fast enough to generate market penetration. I'll be getting one soon icon_idea.gif

agree with u..like in my office, when mention buying new phone, they will say s4..when mention choosing btw htc and samsung, they still say s4 also..they don even know htc got new phone or how it look like....samsung's advertising and promoting is doing better... if they go to hp shop to check on the phones, but no htc one and only s4 ...they will just buy it after play play with it.. for those who is willing to wait, wait till long time and yet still no news, they will also swift.. production and promotion are both important factor to decide on the success of a product too..

its they dont care about anything else than Samsung and Apple, not HTC advertising.

Tech savvy ppl knows whats coming up and update themselves with the latest news, common plebs rely on word of mouth.

Nobody dares to be different, must use Samsung and Touchwiz. When i ask them to flash to stock android, they say "not used to it".
