Hi guys... been comparing S4 vs HTC One, no idea which one to get...haha~ i like HTC's body better. But from reviews seems like S4 is the better phone in terms of power and even the camera is better (even low light). Please help me some one... due to the low resolution, cropped images look blurry..

do u always crop ur image? if not then why concern?
Both are good phone. Just go try out and feel yourself since both come with difference UI which provide dif user experience.

BTW HTC One lowlight proven beat S4.

Maybe you would like to see the image comparison here: Camera Comparison: HTC One Vs Galaxy S4

QUOTE(benny888 @ May 20 2013, 09:09 AM)
I have both
On camera s4 is overall better ( more detailed pics) than htc1 n loses to it slightly only on lowlight photo shots n speed of photo capture
*
I guess one of my main comparisons would be the camera as i use it alot (i dont have a standalone camera). The website i saw was GSMARENA. Seems like S4 > HTC One even in low light.
lengkhang, the comparison you gave me shows HTC One > S4 in low light... i dont have both..so which one is actually better ? From GSMArena seems S4 lowlight and overall shots more detailed and have nicer colors. Im thinking GSMArena uses Night mode in S4 to compare... and in auto mode HTC One > S4.

this is my personal opinion.. think it like buying a car; Bentley and Ferrari (or any other sport car) are expensive cars.. design wise Bentley are more to a luxurious car, so normally old-rich people prefer it, for sport car, they are SEXY and that how i define HTC One  drool.gif  (while S4 is the Bentley, ugly or not, its still a beast).  rclxms.gif  so which one do you prefer?
*
Haha... i choose an ipad mini over android tab because of its sexyness...

I somehow feel battery life is not an upgrade if compared to Note II ? From reviews its HTC1 batt life is lower than S4. And SgNoteII has one of the best batteries. Anyone who owned both... can you give us an accurate comparisson ?

Note 2 battery is much bigger than HTC One, if want to compare heavy usage Note 2 should have a slight advantage.
*
Thats true, so it cant be that HTC1 batt life > SGNoteII right ?
How about S3 ? I own S3 now, looking to upgrade to HTC1.

I believe the only 1 with visible noise is the last picture with the Iron Man, where is under very very low light condition, so thats normal.
*
QUOTE(emiwy @ May 22 2013, 10:43 AM)
you mean the low light pics?
because they look mighty fine to me, as a normal consumer (not camera pro etc etc)
*
Oh i think its the first pic..the sky has some noise and grain esp darer blue areas. Also same for fast and furious...and the thumb seems a little blurred. and the chips/fries maybe hand shake a lil when taking the pic? hehe.. On contrary... i think the last ironman pic is fine, esp low light wink.gif Not going to compare with standalone camera...no fight. nod.gif

Really keen on HTC one.. my first PDA(with stylus..haha!) was a HTC and i really felt its high quality (materials and built) and the best voice call quality. But after that other companies came out with better phones. Then i got HTC Mozart..another solid build. But batt really sucked and cust/ software support really lacked. I cant afford to change phone too often so is there anything that disappoints you guys so far before i get this for my own?

From my 1 week testing with the camera, HTC One color is abit dull as pointed by agito666 before. I put saturation +1 most of the time. Color definitely more to warm especially on low light.

I dislike One don't have metering setting on the camera. The metering can screw up the whole image exposure most of the time since it seem using spot metering instead of matrix.

Other than that, I am actually quite satisfied with it smile.gif Picture come out ngam my taste and good thing about 4mp, pic not big in size and also smaller resolution though the disadvantage come when you wanna do cropping.

Havent really tested video yet, no chance.

Special/unique features.. I guess as per advertise already tongue.gif But i hope they improved blink feed and Zoe to be more customize able in future.

Oh great smile.gif whats the average size of a full size/quality picture ?

so far, again, i would recommend this as the best smartphone available in the world nowadays (not sure about next month and so on la.. lol)

i was very picky with smartphone.. if you were often in this forum, maybe you can recall i complaint here and there  tongue.gif  tongue.gif  .. even the best from samsung last time, Note 2, still has too many glitches here and there.. but this time, HTC one, the only thing i voiced out was the side bezel, in which you can see it is not very nicely done... other than that, this is the best thing in my pocket everyday, using it with a smile, not with headache as before.. i recommend this to anyone, especially to iphone user who want some refreshment.  biggrin.gif
*
hehe thumbup.gif ok....seems to have really positive usage reviews from u guys. If i get from maxis/celcom i should be able to use it with LTE right ?

Get swiftkey.. one of the best purchases made. I use rapid type mode..where it will correct most of your mistakes. Fast and customizeable.
