I will be getting Forte 1.6SX very soon but due to tight budget might wait until September 2013. I heard Malaysia Budget is happening on that month and another thing is that I donno hear from where saying if Forte sold out will have to wait for "facelift". Is it true?

Sorry I have not bought any car before, expecting Forte 100%.

i don't think there is anymore forte in september 2013, the facelift u heard is most probably the new cerato (aka k3, aka forte replacement model)

I do not believe anything will happen in the Malaysia Budgetary Announcement. One goes down, something goes up. I just cannot see how the car price can go down or why they want to do that. Really for the rakyat ah? Then the first thing that they should do is to take out their GST proposal from clothings, food/ groceries, houses, and cars. Hey, you may get the GST announcement on that day. Tada, your car is suddenly 7% more expensive than a day before. But I am not Fat Mama. I do not know whether there is a prawn behind a stone by Bro Ajib.

Bro, the current Forte I believe has limited stock in the market. This is due to Cerato is going to be launched approximately in July. This is a complete different car, not facelift. Google Kia K3 and look at the difference.

What we expect is there will be a difference of 10-15k (??) or more between Forte and K3. Hence, with this, the demand of Forte increased. It will only be time when the Forte will be sold out. So when you are looking for Forte in September, you either get stock which they forget to sell in stockyard (lucky) or test drive car (not lucky at all) or second hand car (maybe not so lucky).

Since demand went up, there is no reason for SA to push sales for lower price for you, since they are going to sell by themselves anyway. So a BK with leather seat is a good deal, but it will be sweeter with at least abit pf discount. Look for Motorman and Buydirect in the 1st page. He might be able to work out something for you.
