Many people don't seem to understand the importance of Depot.

For Line 2, they will need a depot in the northern region, so why not use Sg Buloh one? In fact Sg Buloh depot was designed to fit trains for Line 2 as well.

KUALA LUMPUR: Gamuda Bhd and MMC Corporation Bhd have been appointed the joint venture company to carry out the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit’s (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line project.

The two companies announced on Wednesday they had received the letter from the Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd for the project.

The terms and conditions of PDP’s appointment will be contained in a project delivery partner agreement to be negotiated and agreed, they said.

Yes correct. But as of not too long ago, they have decided to put Putrajaya Sentral (which is on the other side of Presint 14) as last stop, hence this has become the unofficial last stop.

It takes about 5 years to complete all the studies. And a lot more studies need to be undertaken. The realignment confirmation has just been made recently, although several proposals were on the table. Anyhow, MRT Corp has got a new CEO.

Good idea to connect Bandar Malaysia HSR with MRT 2 as you'll only need 3-4 stations to KLCC vicinity.

Bandar Malaysia might get 2 stations.

Most likely Bandar Malaysia gets the MRT2 and hence Pandan / Alam Damai area could be sacrificed.
