Many stations on MRT 2 seems to be "Island" type which is good.

I exposed this map in our News Article. Haha, now that KLCC LRT itself really didn't get the interchange as per this map we posted.

wordings from PTLM: https://www.facebook.com/groups/115179435202482/ When commencing operations in 2021, the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line ("MRT Line 2") will begin from Kwasa Damansara Station which is currently under construction under MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line ("MRT Line 1"). Hence by that time, the MRT Line 1 will also begin services from Kwasa Damansara Station. The interchange station for both MRT Line 1 and 2 will be Kwasa Damansara Station. There will be a new transportation link that serve Taman Fadason to Selayang Baru to be announced later, which will interchange with a station under MRT Line 2. The MRT Line 2 will commence by 2021 until 2022 in phases. MRT Line 2 will build 36 stations but when services begin, it will have 39 stations, including 3 stations built under MRT Line 1. MRT Line 1 which is currently building 31 stations will have station count reduced to 29 stations when 2021 comes. |

All there infra projects are through DanaInfra bonds. Some of money already raised. The repayments are essentially dependent on the project projected cashflows which I believe the MRT projects will be quite successful moving forward the next 10 years from now. Infrastructure assets are quite attractive around the region today.
The infrastructure-based financing on bonds at regional macrolevel is quite liquid with alot of money moving around. Asian Infrastructure Bank setting up is quite timely. This post has been edited by accetera: Feb 4 2016, 10:22 PM |

QUOTE(miahak @ Jul 29 2016, 04:41 PM) http://www.mymrt.com.my/en/sbk/trains MRT 1 is using Siemens Inspiro model but the train bodyworks and train structure will be by China's CSR Nanjing Puzhen. for MRT 1 they will use SIEMENS AG from Germany. It should be the same for MRT 2 - https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2892223 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanjing_Puzhe...ing_Stock_Works - http://www.ptlm.com.my/index.php/component...line-mrt-line-1 MRT 2 is using Hyundai Rotem model via the HAP Consortium. - http://www.mymrt.com.my/en/awarded-contracts-ssp - http://www.ptlm.com.my/index.php/component...-for-mrt-line-2 The idea of having two different models is to encourage cost competitiveness between both models. |
