Wow this is new to me.. I thought as long it's a sony phone... AP or Ori.. Both also can serviced. Because when warranty is over for an original sony phone, can service, but will kena charge. I thought ap set is also a sony phone(regardless the fact it's a oversea model). So I tot ap set can also can send if broken, but kena charge heavy.

Based on this fact, I will decide to buy ap or original.
Confirmed the fact is true?

bro, even though you bought original from malaysia, if you went oversea i dont think sony warranty covers for international, pls correct me if im wrong. somebody

Yup, same as AP set works..

1. yes u can. they will charged the fees but wont guarantee to you if any damage happens during the repairation they are not covered. if during repair and they damage some parts of ur phone, they are not cover it.. pls take note. (personal experience)

2.most can.. as long as they got the spare parts.. (got technician and spare parts confirm no problem, personal experience before as handphone shop indoor sales, knew some technicians).

3. less 4gb in market, seldom.. 8gb class 4 rm24, class 10 rm34 (sandisk). 16gb also just rm44 for class 4, rm55 for class 10.

4. dock available in msia with price rm126.00 RRP.

i mean, even IF the ap shop i bought from closed down, i can just go fix it at another ap technician... and surely lowyat people can fix one. if cannot, then i just take it as a last resort to sony center ... correct?

and i presume that lowyat centre is already selling the dock?

Hi guys, I want to get opinions on something. Really hope to get your guys' insights.

Is is worth it to buy a ZR? I'm actually waiting for Honami but ZR is tempting me, most probably some reasons:

-Its waterproof, better than Xperia Z and upcoming Honami.
-4.6" screen still usable for me for my single hand operation.
-It is already out there while Honami atleast until the end of the year.

but Honami do tempting me because
-Snapdragon 800 and camera with a flash. If Xperia ZU got flash, I can forget Honami long time ago.


Is there really a significant difference between Snapdragon S4 Pro and 800 performance? App and internal data wise, I tend to set and forget, not that young anymore to tinkering around everyday just like the old days. So if I install a big bunch of apps and lots of music and pictures files inside the phone, do the processor gives a difference when handle the lagging?

Don't tell me it's not lagging. I'm using Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 900) which once boasting for its unshakable performances but in the end it does upset me sometimes.

On another thing. Is there any major problem regarding antenna, call quality and connection to the network? Since from the start Nokia boasting (again) about their superior call quality, antenna performance but Nokia is truly upset me nowadays in terms of call quality, connection to network, its antenna.

I don't wanna end up buying an inferior phone and later been cursed by my boss again.

If you talking about its camera, Lumia's 8MP already satisfying. So ZR is already ok.

Android versions? As long it is not inferior than Gingerbread, anything else is okay for me.

^ i bought one for my dad & i think it's really worth it. comfortable to hold & operate single handed, not bulky at all.

Very responsive, no lagging at all. great screen, loud speaker for media playback, good camera this one also have flash.

4GB usable internal memory might be a problem, but i can install quite a number of games & applications yet it still run smooth. looks like my dad slowly become a mobile gamer too lol coz he asked for it i think it's even snappier than my tablet Z...maybe with less demanding screen so all the processing power is fully utilized.

didnt have any problem with connecting to wifi & network so far...

If you have smartphone around u now and no any faulty, u should wait Honami. 20MP G lens is awesome
