New purchase. Got a tester at a awesome price. Given it a couple of full wearing.

The original edc was said to have poor longevity so I got the Concentre d'Orange Verte which is edt version. Very fresh and uplifting scent. Really fresh and pleasant scent good for hot casual days. Longevity on skin is poor but lasts a good 6 hours on clothes.

You get orange and basil. This is not a sweet scent but fruity and green. Of all my collection, this is the freshest and most uplifting.

Good buy. Sniffed this one before. I get very natural orange note.

Glade Cool Water and no, it doesn't smell like Davidoff's. Moderate projection in my car biggrin.gif

There was a guy standing next to me (about 1 meter apart) at the mall just now and his BdC was projecting in beast mode. I could tell he's a smoker from his cigarette smoke odor. It's either he put too much, spray on clothes or just simply he's a smoker.

SOTN - 24 Gold
Beautiful scent. Getting to like it more.

Tried aloe gel but didn't work for me.  Definitely not nose fatigue, when in doubt I always ask people around me if they can smell me. Anyway, it's always interesting to hear this from a woman's perspective (I'm assuming you are one).

Tried 24 and 24 Platinum last night. Both have very good projection and longevity. 24 has that 90's vibe I won't care much. 24 Platinum is interesting. It reminds me of my wife's Coco Mademoiselle. Went to sniff Crabtree & Evelyn men frags but none excite me.
It's very surprising to hear that aloe vera gel didn't work for you. I did a test for you yesterday morning with both aloe vera gel and silicone, and a quite fleeting scent which I know will be gone by midday. And aloe vera gel works far better than my expectation, I can still smell it at night time. I think I am going to test again for projection, and I'll let you know the result.

The way that I applied the aloe vera gel & perfume's that I put a dollop of aloe very gel on my wrist, spread it on skin and quickly sprayed the perfume on and let the aloe vera gel dries . i hope it'll help.

I see but I thought you have to let it dry first before spraying? I did try making my own scented lotion by mixing it together on my palms before applying. It helped in improving longevity too but I prefer just to spray it on lotioned skin, easier. Longevity is no longer an issue for me. What bothers me now is projection. I wanna amplify it and I believe I saw one of Tim's youtube vids that lotioned skin will hinder projection. However, I find spraying on clothes will do the trick just fine.

Spraying on cloths work makes your fragrance project very well. I tried spraying Pure Havane on clothes and almost can't stand the projection cause it was too strong. Spraying on clothes seem to prolong the top and middle notes. The base notes haven't even surface by the end of the day. Only downside is the fragrance remains neutral, there is no chemistry development with your skin.

Pure Havane is not that colored. Not much of concern there. The thing is it is just too much, project like crazy. So far I don't have much colored fragrance like those black afgano or NR for men ...those are really dark juices.

Actually Black Afgano isn't dark black juice as I thought. It's clear brownish color. I have a vial from Astroboy22.

SOTD - PE
My first bottle from Chanel. Wanted it for formal occasion. Got a 50ml bottle this year from my local Parkson store for RM192 with RM20 promotional/discount vouchers in return. This reminds me of Mont Blanc Legend (black bottle). Actually, I discovered PE through Legend, liked it but bought PE instead as PE is classier. I believe PE has been reformulated as well. I only get moderate projection and longevity out of it.

Yup. That's why I sprayed on both my skin and clothes.
