Yes. I visited their store the last time I was KL. The SA I met was very professional and patience. She let me try all of them and explained to me one by one. I've just googled it and it's still in business :-

yes. the boutique just renovated not that long ago.

if you are traveling up to bangkok, better get it there at the international airport. you will save around rm100 for a bottle of 100ml.

I loved and owned AdG and it lasted on average 6 hours on my skin but I have no complaints because most freshies don't last very long (<8 hours) especially those in EdT concentration. Have you tried the EdP flanker? You may like Light Blue by D&G for the same vibe but it doesn't last very long.

Other lemon-based scents with OK longevity (6-8 hours) you may like are Allure Homme Sport by Chanel, Allure Homme Edition Blanche by Chanel and HM by Hanae Mori (this one lasted longer than the two Chanel on my skin). I would like to add L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake too but it's Yuzu based. Older reviews say it has excellent longevity but it didn't last more than 8 hours on my skin. Probably it has been reformulated. Most current scents are already victims of IFRA regulations, which restricts the use of essential oils that are "said" to be allergenic or carcinogenic (it depends how you look at it). Of course, there is other reason for reformulation, which is cost cutting. Therefore, read online reviews with a pint of salt. It's always better to sample first to see how well it will perform on your skin.

Unless you don't mind exploring into dark evening scents, you'll have more options like for example, Interlude by Amouage. It lasted >10 hours on my skin. It's currently the longest lasting scent in my collection followed closely by L`Air du Desert Marocain by Tauer Perfumes (on my skin at least). Happy hunting!

Received my Arpege (EdP) in the mail yesterday. Delivered by DHL Express in 12 days from NYC. Got the 100ml bottle for only RM133 shipped from FragranceX.com. StrawberryNet.com is selling it for > RM300. It's my SOTD today. It smells and performs the same as my tiny decant I got from surrendertochance.com. Both are of the current formulation. My batch code on box also matches bottle. I really love the retro bottle design. Lately I'm opened to aldehydes. If you wanna try aldehydes but find it too much in Chanel N5, try Arpege. Perfume critic, Luca Turin says it's one of the best women scents men can wear. On my skin and to my nose, I get mostly peachy aldehydes with some jasmine, musk and vanilla. Projection and longevity are moderate on my skin. I've not tried the vintage version but this one is FB worthy in my book. From what I've read, the vintage has civet when it first came out in 1927. It was then reformulated in 1993, which is the current bottle I have. Of course, I believe it must have gone through several reformulations after 1993 but the current one still smells quality to my nose.

Congratulation on your hauls. Let me guess, the black one is Burberry Sport. My wealthy insurance agent wears this. I've not tried the Obsession Night but I like the Obsession for women EdP.

Most of JV scents are really nice especially the Vintage and 10th Anniversary IMO. I love the Artisan bottle and the fresh citrus scent of it. I almost bought it when I was just starting out looking for a signature scent but didn't materialize because of poor longevity on my skin and expensive retail price (I didn't know about online store back then). You can now find it real cheap at online store like fragrancex.com. If you have tried it and still love it despite all the drawbacks it may have, I would say go for it.

Long time no post. Time always issue nowadays (& costs as well). Small purchases here & there over the 1 yr. Just wana share my latest purchase. Bro t0n3 has reviewed most of the scents fr this interestingly creative line some time ago & many of us here already well-awared of this line. Anyway, Keep it "short & straight to the point". tongue.gif Imaginary Authors by Josh Meyer.

Bought Memoirs of a Trespasser using the 10% disc offer weeks ago. Been gunning for this & knew the offer would come 1 day as same offers were given for other scent in the line. Received within 2 weeks with personal note from melissa (Josh's assistance i presumed), a MOAT bookmark & 2 free samples - Mosaic & Yesterday Haze (Their latest & 10th release). Unfortunately, i have no luck in enjoying these 2 sample as both sample bottles have already broken in pieces (which the small plastic bag was soaked wet inside with intriguing combo of both juices).
Emailed to IA saying i received the order & on the broken sample bottles. Didnt ask for replacemt samples as they were complementary in the 1st place. Josh Meyer replied & said he will send samples to me right away....i received them in 1 week time (express postage of course). Totally appreciated such kind gesture, personal touch & service. And he sent me 5 samples !! Mosaic, Yesterday Haze, Cape Heartache, The Soft Lawn & The Cobra & The Canary...., another personal note & MOAT bottle label sticker rclxms.gif

I'm totally suck in reviewing & no skills whatsoever in describing notes, so just some simple "feel' from me :-

(1) MOAT - warmth, cozy, balanced slight sweetness, simply wonderful. LIKE / For COLD Weather / My girl : YES YES

(2) Mosaic - Refreshing, cooling ...ooooyaaaaa, LIKE / For HOT weather / My girl : Mayb YES la

(3) The Soft Lawn - Fresh green relaxing. LIKE / For HOT weather / My girl : OK nia

(4) The Cobra & The Canary - Leather leather Alcohol Alcohol , Pungent, 2 Faces of hmmm...nice & huh...eeeee. NO LIKE / For COLD weather / My girl : NO la

(5) Yesterday Haze - Very Creamy Milky, Deliciously Edible. LIKE / For COLD & mayb HOT weather too (Not steamy hot la) / My girl : YES. I WANT EAT TOO.

(6) Cape Heartache - Slight creamy, fresh fruit sweet. LIKE / For COLD weather / My girl : OK lo.

The one thing i LIKE abt this line is that for all these 6 scents, they are all wearable & u are not going to get weird-negative responses from others....unlike some "unique" niche perfumes. I'm not into very bold, daring, animalic scents, so it matters a lot if others dun like how i smell. I totally respect & salute the "i dun care what u all think of how bad i smell but i like it anyhow even if its only me & me alone" notworthy.gif . Well, at the end of the day, we all just want to smell good & acceptable...forget the saying of being "generic" , unique or not.

Again, as many of bros here have advised many times already, please sample & test test test whenever u can before buying. Need to spent $$$ wisely nowadays. Each scent will smell & react differently on each indv skin & also each person will have different opinion on the same scent.

Cheers to all & happy weekend !!

Great purchase bro! No doubt MoAT is their best seller. It's a very nice smokey vanilla. I almost bought Mosaic during the dry season. Yesterday Haze is their latest release. Haven't tried it yet but there's a little buzz going on about this new scent in fragcomm.
