All customizable features available in Cataclysm!

Some of them really neat!

No quick toggle. Cannot pull down from the right straight into quick settings but can set to pull down quick settings when there is no notification or no clearable notification.

Everything included are working!

With the included kernel, it's amazing!

Smoother than pure stock after restoring all my apps.

Personal experience, may not be the case for all of you. Try at your risk!

Guys may i know what are "radios"?

And what is the rule of flashing ROM? Like sometimes we don't have to wipe data, but under what circumstances? Same android version, same ROM series (PA, Carbon etc) or same CM version?

radios are something like the drivers for WiFi, 2G and 3G for ur phone..

without the radios, u cant connect or detect any wifi signal or gsm signal icon_idea.gif

if u are flashing the rom from the same developer, usually u don nid to wipe...like slim bean v6 to slim bean v7 for example

if u are flashing the rom from diff developer to another developer, u should wipe data.... slim bean to AOKP for example

however, it all depends on u...

for me, i will only wipe data, if i faced any problem like FC or bootloop after flashing then only wipe laugh.gif

Radio is like the driver for communication. Without it, you can't connect to anything through gsm/wifi.

Actually... Most if not all developers encourage a clean flash (factory reset - wipes data, dalvik, cache). So if you choose to dirty flash, you may stuck in a bootloop or get FC or something. Usually dirty flash won't give any problem if it's just slight increment in version number or between 2 nightlies' date. Since the changes in the ROM are normally very slight, probably just optimization or fixing some bugs, then going dirty won't break anything. However, sometimes the update is so huge that it alters a lot of thing then it will break something, causing FC or the worst case, bootloop biggrin.gif

I just experienced this yesterday, but not matter clean/dirty flash, I'll at least backup with titanium backup. Yesterday stuck in bootloop then straight factory reset and flash again since I can't boot into my android.

In short, you suka, you dirty flash. But to be safe, make backup before dirty flash in case something is broken.

Clean flash of course need backup so need not to mention la biggrin.gif
