4.3 really smoother and battery-friendlier than 4.2

now on stock, waiting for the custom roms to be ready smile.gif

... And i finally bought Titanium Backup, 1 whole year after i bought gnex. Recently got extra income, can afford liao laugh.gif

i bought that last year.....i find that i used it too often, so grabbed it without regretting after that icon_idea.gif

so tempting to flash to 4.3, but i just too lazy to do all the stuff whistling.gif

camera view finder issue again in catalysm sad.gif
*
Blame Google for the viewfinder thing. They sort of want us to take picture in wide aspect ratio but without letting us to choose yo take in wide aspect ratio.Other mmanufacturers noticed this and allowed the users to choose. If we choose 4:3 then it will put black bars on top and bottom to display full 4:3. Motorola X camera app also taking 16:9 picture. I guess they think 16:9 is the trend now? Haha

My PGM working with the included kernel. You should try again.

Using "Paid" 1.16h

Btw, Cataclysm has the slide out effect (like clearing apps) when clearing recents. This is something that I've been looking for in Custom ROM (those All-in-one ROMs). Most dev excluded it saying it's a resource hogger. Working fine on Cataclysm! Love it!

vernon91 Want to play with my Cataclysm? brows.gif Sooooo smooth drool.gif

It's 4.3. Factory image is out within an hour after 4.3 announcement. Most ppl already rocking 4.3 on the very same day as Google's announcement.

Even Custom ROM is out for 4.3. and I'm loving it!

Oh... We're referring to the Yakju variant (just software variant, not hardware. Hardware is the same "Maguro").
Yakju variant can now get OTA Update from Google. Non Yakju variant (like Yakjuxw etc) need to wait for Samsung to provide OTA Update wink.gif

Dual core is actually very sufficient for running Android. It's just not enough when running resource intensive apps.

doh.gif You can never compare a Nexus device to a non nexus device! Nexus device normally receives update on the day new android version is announced. Non-Nexus device, even if and only if the manufacturer is updating their devices, they're normally at least half year behind.
