QUOTE(IwanAGP @ May 16 2013, 12:02 PM) Too bad... Rumour says it's going to be the version that won't work in Malaysia. yep interesting to see the rom development for S4 exynos. Some already boycott S4 exynos. Looks like for now, Snadragon 600 is getting all the love. I love Android Studio. It's high time to get into Android programming!

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ May 19 2013, 05:06 PM) It's very hard for this to happen. For this to happen... Samsung either have to invest more in fab plants to fab moreeeeee Exynos chipset OR not to fab for Apple (big customerrr!!!). Also... Samsung have much less patent/license for most of the technology that Qualcomm is holding. Qualcomm has gone through a very long journey in the communication field and later making them into integrated chipset. It's very hard for Samsung to keep up unless Samsung take over Qualcomm which is very very impossible. It's amazing to see how Qualcomm can be one of the top semiconductor company that owns NO FAB PLANT. Everything "SUB" to other company (Foundry) to fab. Apa pun boleh SUB (just like Malaysia) it's a knowledge based economy now, after all

QUOTE(springfall @ May 23 2013, 05:14 PM) im very very very very sure u just selected flash yakju stock factory image. any1 tried instant heart rate app? seems cool to detect heart rate with ur phone. tried it long time back. Can be a gimmicky party trick thingy. it can get quite hot if continuously use for like 5 mins. sometimes take pretty long to start counting. Thus far it has been accurate. Tho I never used it right after some exercise.

wish 4.3 comes soon with optimisation for system performance.
since 4.2, the lag is apparent. some ROM when first time use is smooth. THen after a while the lag starts.
im kinda spoilt using friend's Nexus 4 and my ultrabook with SSD. Cant tolerate any slowdowns :|

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jun 6 2013, 10:30 PM) I'm using westwood sioplus 1024 ondemandplus 384 to 1036 Very good for me. Good battery too. Possibly can yield 4 hours SOT for continuous usage. Got myself 2.5 hours before 50%. But need the phone tomorrow. Now charging again 1036 can be fast enough? 1.2Ghz still like snail sometimes

i was curious about SIOPLUS vs ROW I/O controls, so i did some tests today.
ROW with 512 seems to give best Database IO performance and final score.
Can help edit if u are free, here :https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnKxjupD2eLydDE5MHEzUDJ0RGl3TGFZSXpXTGQ3ZXc&usp=sharing
*my setting : 192Mhz - 1.4 Ghz, 384 min screen on, 537 max screen off, ondemandplus. Multiccore power saving - 1, battery life extender - 95, GPU as stock fancy settings.
