My laptop is Acer V5-473PG (direct competitor to Dell 5470). Unfortunately I didn't encounter any wifi problem. I am staying at hostel 4th floor but I able connect my uni wifi hotspot located at LG. Somemore you know there's many hotspot and limited wifi channels will interfere with each other to make the signal weak, but it works perfectly. I almost purchase Vostro 5470 but luckily I didn't.  biggrin.gif

Hi guys, is it normal that I need to press the power button quite hard to turn on my Vostro 5470? At first I thought it was broken but it seems that i need to press the power button quite hard. In my situation, I need to push the button deep until it sounds 'click', then after that I need to further push it until the light comes out...

Bought Vostro 5460 August last year and now already having problem can't turn on. It started with the whole screen suddenly flicker like 'water flowing horizontal' then i just press power button to force shut down. When I want to restart it never happen, can only see power and hard disk activity light blink every five seconds...sigh..

Or could this be because of virus when i click that torrent file to download a movie hmm.gif

Too bad dell support off today doh.gif
