Your rig = PC
- What type of usage = Game, Music, Movie
- File format used in your source = Anything
- Genre of music you listen to = Kpop, Jpop
- Headphone/ earphone type = earphone (prefer the ones where its just stuck to the ear like traditional ones. Currently own a ss siberia v2 but sometimes its just too bulky
- Other requirements = White colour! ( not really necessary but prefer tho)
- Budget = Below RM200

Raise your budget for a little bit, get yourself an Audio Technica ATH-CKM500. thumbup.gif

Haha this is my friend buying and he wants a new one. Ok I will note down the ATH M50. Any others? It just needs to be the most comfort one in that price range.
*
ATH-M50 is subjective when it comes to comfort, since it is using the pleather pads. Some people find their ears get sweaty/heat up pretty fast, and it is pretty bassy.
I personally suggest AD700x. It is good for anime/movies. Also does well with J-songs. (Jrock/Jpop) cool.gif Suppose your friend watches anime so he would listen to this genre in particular.

Vsonic VSD1 or Sound Magic E10, around RM100.
The former's sound signature is more balance and neutral, the latter has more bass. biggrin.gif

there is a reason why it is called IEM, cause it's "in ear" monitors

Sorry guys is it possible to recommend something around RM500? From those that I checked only the ATH M50 is around that price. Others are like 1k+ sweat.gif
*
I recommend the ATH M40x, not sure if out in Malaysia yet, but effeminately will be out this month. It has a flat sound so depending on EQ setting, most people should be happy smile.gif
If can topup another RM150, ATH M50x is highly recommended. The new design has detachable cables, so can change cables to suit comfort and when the wire breaks or anything, you won't have to buy a new set of cans. M40x also has detachable cables smile.gif

I'm mentioning the M40x without any proof that they are comfortable yet, but the older version, M40, are quite comfortable as many people mention in their reviews.

RM300 imho is too low for a wireless + good build quality + decent sound quality.
Take at look at the Sony MDR-1RBT then you'll know tongue.gif

If you like bass, consider SoundMAGIC E10.
Else, Koss KSC75 (on ear tho)

Usually those bulky sized headphone capable to produce life-like sound quality for your movies and also your musics. (Audio-Technica AD700x tongue.gif )

Nonetheless, can consider,
Audio-Technica ES700 (lively sounds and detailed)
Audio-Technica M50 (Great bass and slightly "trebled" sound)
V-Moda Crossfade M-80 (stylish looking + portable + good sound quality)
Grado SR225i (rock/metal sounds really good )
Creative Aurvana Live! (this one is not even RM500, sounds is the best among these)

hey, thanks for your recommendations and I am really new in audiophile (completely noob perhaps tongue.gif).
so may I know are all of them available in Malaysia?
currently eyeing on ES700 but would like to try on other models too...

besides that, would like to know about the comfortness of the ear pads, have been reading quite a lot of reviews saying that es700 will cause user to feel uncomfortable after wearing for long time. Does this only on es700 or normal headphone will do? Which of them has the most comfortable wear?

Thanks smile.gif

you have to see the size of the earpad and what it is made of, velour full sized is very comfy, while pleather on ear are very... shitty
