You can transfer contacts, images, some files to other phones which have NFC by just touching the back of the phones together smile.gif

for now most common usage are like

1. transferring files/music/photos/contact
2. change settings with a quick flash on nfc tags/cards.

u try to test it near the rear camera spot
cause that day i also think my nfc faulty

Mines is same like yours, NFC on but no response for T n GO card. But it work with other NFC device such as my wife HOX. I read somewhere in XDA, it is due the alu casing.

actually idk what nfc is for lulz.

No luck for me, only work with devices with NFC beam, not worked with NFC tag or cards.

What is the writing at the bottom back of your phone?
It should be;

Model: PN07140 5VDC =1A 801S
