I believe the customer svc staff made a mistake for telling u that imei is belongs to 801e. but, to make be very sure abt it is to get the LTE enable SIMcard and trying it your self.

eh, now i don't get it already.
I thought you said before this at the back of
your phone got 801e ?

edit - He never said that actually. I think that he checked
online and called HTC Careline and they confirm that his IMEI
belongs to 801e. He also confirmed that his box also 801s.
