I think stock should be ready already? Cause I email to ask about PKB, previously which is yesterday, the fellar tell me there is no PKB for this phone, then I reply saying that they stated in their website but why now dont have? Then I get this reply

Any major benefits?

If only there's a way to ROOT and put a feature to wake the phone without pressing the physical top button.  sweat.gif
Like my BlackBerry Z10 can wake the phone by just swiping the screen from the bottom up. Wish Android can do it too with all its customizations!!!  icon_question.gif
*
Android got another way to wakeup by using smart screen on, not sure require root anot. By just swiping thru your light sensor (*Depends how many time u set) you can wake your phone and unlock your screen.

Is your sim card new or old? I heard that for maxis LTE, require activation and change new sim card. Not very sure.

Oh that's nice. But the bad part is, the volume buttons are harder to press than the lock button. laugh.gif

Still I hope there's support for Sweep2Wake which I'm using now on my Nexus 4. Just swipe to wake the phone. biggrin.gif
Hmm.. The proximity light sensor is not really practical to be used as such I think. Remember, even keeping your phone in the pocket is similar to swiping it. I could be wrong though. Maybe you could enlighten me. biggrin.gif
There's only ONE reason I stayed away from S4. It looks just like a S3 / Note 2, which is just lame.

The HTC One, on the other hand, is like the rose among the thorns in the Android world. The metal build is similar to the iPhone 5, which is why Apple fans are all over it even though the screen just went bigger by 0.5".
Most people nowadays that got for TOP-END smartphones are tech-savvy or at least read online reviews. The HTC One is touted as BEST smartphone in most reviews even when pitted against S4. It's only a matter of time when HTC's supply catches up with overwhelming demand. But still, HTC's QC is crap, and HTC original warranty in Malaysia is pathetic (just reading their FB scares me).
Yes, Am waiting patiently for S-Off to be out first! biggrin.gif
*
Hmm, not really haha...i used on my desire z, tested on few cases like moving my phone across paper, put in pocket and etc. It wont unlock, only when you use finger. If you use pro version, you can set more setting like sensitvity and etc.

LOL. You are a bad influence to your dad. tongue.gif

Looks like you have one big HTC One family!
Wow. That's awesome. Didn't know the light sensor can be programmed so well. Gonna check it out once S-Off is out! Cheers biggrin.gif

If im not wrong, no root require biggrin.gif try search in playstore, Smart On Lite.

Finally got my black unit. It is GORGEOUS!!! However..after 20 mins of playing with it the bc feels a little warm. It's not v warm but u can definitely feel some warmth there. Probably because it's not plastic so it transmit heat better. Love the new UI. Gone is the yellowish standard wallpaper which I am starting to hate it cos it looks so old fashion. I was using Xperia arc old man. So to me this phone is fast n smooth.

where you get your black unit?

the back of the black one feels more or less like the current iphone...i am quite worried that the black might chip off..
*
ohhh i see...but the black is really gorgeous, but think of another way, if I am putting on a case, it will cover up the beauty also, except getting those transparent case where most I found so far, the quality dont look that nice. Dilemma rclxub.gif

Just picked up my silver unit 32 GB from SENHENG SS2. I actually pre-ordered a black one but decided not to wait because only silver units were delivered today.

For those around that area, you might wanna try to call up to see if there have any available for walk-ins.
*
Wow, SS2 branch got stock O__O...maybe i drop by tomorrow and see. Stay very near only haha....

hmm that's cheap. SiS warranty some more. trustworthy?

no harm dropping by his shop and have a look. Never deal with him before, just randomly browsing thru garage sales and saw his thread.

*based on few of his topic, seems like trustable, but no matter how never deal by postage, always COD

*
Can, you need to sign 1 or 2 year contract then can get the reduced phone price.

I have been scouting this phone for some time . Still hesitating between HTC one n Samsung S4.

Just wondering you think after 2 years, how much does it cost to replace the battery ?
*
I doubt the battery will spoilt tht fast, currently im using htc desire z for 2 n half year, my phone still able to last 1 n half day with whatsapp, and alot of email push nortification.

If you got Maybank, Citibank or RHB Bank CC you can redeem the points to get more discount if purchased from SenQ. Another plus point if buying from SenQ you get 2 years warranty.
*
yeah, thats the reason i choose senQ or senHeng. The actual conversion is 200 point = RM 1. smile.gif
