Any major benefits?

If only there's a way to ROOT and put a feature to wake the phone without pressing the physical top button. 
Like my BlackBerry Z10 can wake the phone by just swiping the screen from the bottom up. Wish Android can do it too with all its customizations!!! 

im using maxis but why cant get LTE? only managed to get H. My network mode already gsm / wcdma / lte auto

Oh that's nice. But the bad part is, the volume buttons are harder to press than the lock button.

Still I hope there's support for Sweep2Wake which I'm using now on my Nexus 4. Just swipe to wake the phone.
Hmm.. The proximity light sensor is not really practical to be used as such I think. Remember, even keeping your phone in the pocket is similar to swiping it. I could be wrong though. Maybe you could enlighten me.
There's only ONE reason I stayed away from S4. It looks just like a S3 / Note 2, which is just lame.

The HTC One, on the other hand, is like the rose among the thorns in the Android world. The metal build is similar to the iPhone 5, which is why Apple fans are all over it even though the screen just went bigger by 0.5".
Most people nowadays that got for TOP-END smartphones are tech-savvy or at least read online reviews. The HTC One is touted as BEST smartphone in most reviews even when pitted against S4. It's only a matter of time when HTC's supply catches up with overwhelming demand. But still, HTC's QC is crap, and HTC original warranty in Malaysia is pathetic (just reading their FB scares me).

Finally got my black unit. It is GORGEOUS!!! However..after 20 mins of playing with it the bc feels a little warm. It's not v warm but u can definitely feel some warmth there. Probably because it's not plastic so it transmit heat better. Love the new UI. Gone is the yellowish standard wallpaper which I am starting to hate it cos it looks so old fashion. I was using Xperia arc old man. So to me this phone is fast n smooth.

Sorry...should have mentioned that. I got it in Europe cos I am currently there.

By the way, I like the HTC prediction on the keyboard. Somehow it's smart enogh.

the back of the black one feels more or less like the current iphone...i am quite worried that the black might chip off..
